Seekers Pre-ordered!!!!!
Metroplex Pre-ordered x 2!!!!!!

Mwha hahahaha
Schide:
Eh, I already have those seekers vintage for a lot less, and I never really cared for Metroplex.

Hopefully we'll be getting more and more Encore releases, with larger molds like Omega Supreme in the future.
Dankir:
I gotta have em all, ordered them both.
Optimus Scourge:
c'mon, E-Hobby, don't let us down now! I want a Metrotitan too!

Wait, wha? Were E-hobby generiseekers actually announced somwhere?!
Night Flame:
I am so very glad I waited on Metroplex/Metrotitan. Omega was an "almost" to my no Transformers rule this year, Metroplex, I don't even have to think about. Ordered. Mine. Twice.

ETA: If Metrotitan comes, I'll order two of him as well.
Prowl2000:
That's pretty cool. They have some interesting reissues coming out over the summer. I may have to take another look at them.

There was mention of Henkei Seeker clones 1-5 with the announcement of Omega Supreme's new face.

No one knows if it means figures but it was suspected that they were Ehobby possible figs. Lots of people wanted it to be the announcement of Japanse Botcon Seekers.

A lot of Wishing in one hand and shitting in the other. Which is why I wouldn't hold my breath.
Night Flame:
After reading through the thread, let me also add to the chorus of "Metroplex needs an enemy. Please give me Trypticon."

I still remember holding his box in my hands as a kid, and having to put him back on the shelf because I was short a few dollars. I never saw him on shelves again. Getting Tryps in minty condition would be the absolute best possible thing that could happen to my Transformers collection. In fact, it's very possible that would be the last Transformer I'd ever need to buy. Unless they keep rolling out the base-bots.

Original Fort Max would be equally awesome though.
Fort Max:
Metroplex is awesome news, I sorta had one when I was little. I found it at my school fete, broken in two at the hips with no tires and no parts. I didn't know exactly what it was but I knew it was cool so I piad the £2 and took it home. Was still playing with it months after that. All his little ramps and hidden pieces made him a great toy.

I can't wait to get him whole and with everything!

Dream come true, my namesake next please!
ponn01:
Well, there goes my economic stimulus rebate check.
Paladine:
This is good news.

Now, 1985 seekers please!
Ace96:
This is awesome! I am stoked I didn't buy an MIB Metroplex. For the KO companies, here is a big middle finger for you!!!
iam12fear:
I have pre-ordered both of these as well. I am curious about the packaging for the two seekers. I wonder why they decided to go this route and not the same as they did with Ironhide and Ratchet. Those two could have been packaged together just like Skywarp and Thundercracker.
Easterling Capt:
hmmm.. Im surprised by Metroplex but not the seekers. Thos were already sold as convention exclusivs in e-hobby boxes. True they cost alot now and I dont see their value go down much.

I dont own a singel Encore ..might get a few now.

I force a chance the last seekers get a relese aswell due to that they were also relesed as convention exclusivs.

hmm 3 /5 US basebots relesed... wonder if Scorpy will come...

Metroplex? awesome, but I actually have one =/
helix:
someone just mentioned their metroplex broken at the hip.... didnt this happen alot, and i wonder if they have retooled this somehow to prevent it breaking so easily??

Easterling Capt:

Thye have done the two autbot bases ( not counting Max as I still dont see him comming. ) then it just leaves Scorpy and Trypticon.

Remeber that any Metroplexs anyone have are either KO's or very old. I don't think that a breaking hip is a widespread problem. There would be no reason to remold it.
microclone:
i already have the hasbro seekers so will probably pass on the encores although they are probably going to be a bit nicer than the somewhat loose hasbro versions.

metroplex to my mind isnt the most exciting toy although its great to have a base as such, esp for all those minicons from recent lines. The upcoming whole package though with box etc and nice and shiny is quite irresistable.

its is very good news though to have a brand new reissue (aside from the tomy merger allowing that of omeaga and skylynx) from takara, i wonder what else is hidden away??
sharke:
looks nice. glad to see they're coming out with different characters
Takeshi357:
Good thing I held back on the KO!

Now, let us join together in a hearty laugh on the expense of those who did not.

Ha! Ha! Ha! HA!

Now remember, do not buy this figure just to own it. Buy this figure also to show your support to Takara, to show there is market for the big citybots; thus, hopefully, pave way to the rest of the big geewuns; Trypticon, Scorponok...perhaps even Fortress Maximus.

Considering Takara's track record, I wonder if Metroplex will suffer/enjoy some subtle alterations. I myself could see them remolding the face to feature the cartoon/comic-accurate 'goggles' instead of eyes.
bouncing boy77:
just recently purchased tru reissue tcracker and skywarp. also won an incomplete metroplex over ebay a month ago. nevertheless, i'll still be getting the encores when they come out.
Thorns2010:
I ordered my Metroplex!! Because the one I had as a kid broke at the waist, and I still blame my older brother for that, although he denies everything!!
airfox:
An official Encore Metroplex gives me high hopes of an eHobby Exclusive Metrotitan! Guess I won't look for the KO @ Botcon.

EDIT: also, pre-ordering the seekers!

-airfox
OptimalCanadian:
WOW!
Scantron:
Good choices for the Encore line, but I'll be passing. I already own a NM, nearly complete vintage G1 Metroplex and getting the one accessory that I don't have (small car-guy's gun) isn't enough to justify spending the money on it. As for Skywarp and Thundercracker, I have the Hasbro reissues and the missiles never bothered me...especially not to the point of wanting to drop ~$72 just for 'correct' missiles.

I'd really like to see one of the next Encore reissues be a two-pack of Thrust and Ramjet, as those are the two Seekers I'm missing and they haven't been reissued by anyone in a long time (if at all).
Hiro Prime:
Good news all around, but I wonder how long it will take them to start doing the Japanese Exclusive show figures. Victory Saber, Liokaiser, Raod Caeser, Dai Atlas, etc...

I think they'd sell the crap out of those figures as they've never seen a release in the US and haven't been reissued in Japan ever. (I don't count Brave)
Andre:
Yahoo! I never had Metroplex. I was tempted by the KO, but I'm glad I resisted.

I hope they come out with the Dinobots, Scorpy, Tryptycon, Fort Max (I have Brave Max from Car Robots, but it's not the same) and Thrust (the only seeker I don't have).
Acid Wing:
Not really amped about Thundercracker and Skywarp, but Metroplex looks tasty indeed. Hmmm, Metroplex or Omega? Decisions. Decisions.

Or may I'll wait for a Trypticon re-release. Now that I will be excited about.

Funny you should mention that. This afternnon I was thinking how cool it would be if they put all 5 Dinobots in one giftset. That would be the coolest thing.

Sure would. I know Predaking was a combiner, but they did do a giftset of those. So why not of Dinobots!
Johnator:
This is such awesome news! YES!
Here is what I would like Takara to reissue next:

1. Shockwave
2. Trypticon
3. Dinobots
4. Stunticons Set

That would seriously make my day especially the Stunticons set. WOOO HOO!
slugslinger2004:
Preordered Metroplex and the minibot set. I hope this version will have rubber tires, or I'll more than likely cancel my preorder.

Also glad to see they're reissuing Thundercracker and Skywarp, even though I don't want them.

E-Hobby released them a while back, but they are real expensive. I would love to see the rest in Encore as well.

I doubt it, but you really never know, I'm quite sure they would have NO problem selling it. 25th Anniversary Dino Giftset? C'mon, TakTom, dooo iiit!
angeltread:
come on, guys. every fan in existence thinks about a dino giftset... on a daily basis, usually, somewhere between sex and 'what do i want to eat?' in frequency. it's a fantasy. wishful thinking that will never happen.

Anything's possible at this point... I mean the fact that they reissued PREDAKING at all proves this!!!

hopefully they do a correct color Metrotitan recolor

YES
Superquad7:
This is great news for those of you who don't already have these toys! I really hope everyone who wants these will be able to get these! All three, imo, are GREAT toys!

I really hope this prompts TakaraTomy to release a Metrotitan as many of you have mentioned. I hope he'll be just as easy to get and as affordable as well. If not, I hope this venture really drives down the price on the KOs, as I might would still opt for a KO Metrotitan simply if the "official" is harder to get + pricer.

Anyways, WIN-WIN all the way around!
lookinglasself:
Excellent news. I own all three, but both of these will be preordered for sure.
jorod74:
my wallet mourns the tragic loss of several people today...Washington, Lincoln, Jackson, and though they were snobbish and infrequent guests- Grant and Benjamin....

A non KO Metro....droolz.
and i kinda needed a mintier fresh Thundercracker to go with my OG one that is on the shelf right now.

and that Grail of a minty Omega Supreme.....i feel like i gave 3 quarts at a blood drive and tried to do jumping jacks....light in the head....

great...in sept., gonna hear that in January, 13 and 14 will be shockwave and the Dirge-Ramjet 2 pack....

MEDIC! my wallet's crashing!
Bryan:
Sold.

I'm LOVING Encore. Takara is showing megalove to the fans lately.
darkmgmstr:
Freakin awesome!!!! I sure hope that we get Fortress Maximus one day... *crosses fingers*

Yeah, I can't tell you how tired I am of people who don't know anything telling us what will or won't happen.

Because remember kids: Hound is definitely lost, Soundwave is at the bottom of the sea, KO makers killed Predaking, Star Convoy is too obscure, Megatron has no international market, nobody likes Ironhide, Metroplex is too big, Wheeljack/Mirage/Sunstreaker is broken...oh, wait.

Encore Dinobots are just as likely as anything else at this point. I will be _very_ surprised if we don't see at least Grimlock before Encore winds down.

HELL. they are making strafing runs over and over on my wallet and bank account.... HELP!! STOP THE PLASTIC CRACK FEST!!!

I love all these re-issues but damned the $$$ involved will be top shelf once all these things hit the market and the visa gets bludgeoned into submission....
