shibamura_prime:
Wow, Metroplex?!
Maybe this is a sign that one day soon the Fort Max reissue folks will get their wish.
SPLIT LIP:
Despite owning Skywarp, Encore #11 is mine if true.
T-money:
Wow - did not expect that.
TILALLR1:
Glad I held back on the KO Metroplex now! YAH!
BraveMax:
Finally - an encore I want!

General Magnus:
Sweet Metroplex
soundwaveCA:
Damn, nice for those who don't have a Metroplex as he is an amazing toy.
Ruination04:
I'm glad they are reissuing Metroplex!! I would only buy KOs for figures with no hope of reissues, like Wheeljack & Sunstreaker. This is awesome for the people who had to look at the KO Metroplex and wonder why Takara had forsaken them! LOL
angeltread:
wow. this is the good stuff right here. skylynx and omega (overrated toy) were meh for me, but these more than make up for those. i'm glad i waited out the KOs as well.
now all we need is titan, scorp, zarak, and fort max thrown in to top it off. and some dinos.
Omnibus Prime:
Interestin'. So there's a chance of a non-hot-pink Metrotitan, maybe?
And more seekers are always good...especially two that never got a mass reissue with normal missiles.
Deefuzz:
Oh hell yeah. Both are preordered.
*crosses fingers for e-hobby Metrotitan*

This. A non-pink this.
KA:
wow. good selection takatomy.
lars573:
Encore #11= So totally bought!
Encore #12= Maybe, but I did end up going for Omega Supereme.
Here's hoping they do Trypticon, and the cone heads.
Runamuck:
Drats! Beaten to the "news" again!
And I'm happy I didn't get the KO Metroplex too.
Metroplex, Skywarp and Thundercracker are miiiiine....ALLLL MINE!
Paradigm-Shift Prime:
Aww, a bit of a let down for the new Encore releases IMO. Continuing the larger bots is great, but Metroplex has always been pretty easy to obtain vintage, lol @ the bootleg Metroplex at this point though.
I was hoping for something a little different I guess, time to wait until the fall/winter set of Encores...
Don't get me wrong Encore still rockin' overall for bring any reissues in the first place.
keebs:
I saw those just now on BBTS and I thought the same thing about a chance Fort Max will be done. Shibby.
Fosterlager:
Hasbro Commemorative Skywarp and Thundercracker, pack your bags! You and your oversized missiles are oughtta here!
stevej:
Oh shit - guess which 2 seekers I paid over the odds for, for the Hasbro reissues, in the last couple of months.
Oh well.

Exactly! Man, the Encore line is gonna make my wallet cringe!
I truly hope they reissue Fort Max as well. Hell, it's a feasible possibility - they used the mold in Car Robots, so we know they still have the molds for him
Scourge_151:
Niiice, glad everyone gets the chance to have a mint complete metroplex now *cuddles his MIB G1*
Baccala1976:
Already have a original Metroplex with rubber wheels, but I wonder if the Encore version will have rubber or plastic wheels.
Have both seekers from the TRU collection but need to get these with correct non "USA SAFE" missiles.
MACRAPTRON:
What's the strategy? The strategy is to eliminate those horrible 'Metraflex' KOs. Finally a decent move from Tomy against the parallel TF market.
I'm skipping all of these, though. Metroplex is such a horrible G1 brick and the G1 Decepticon jets are the worst G1 toys ever made with all those loose parts.
justamaze:
Great news Metroplex, now bring out some large decepticons. Scorponik or Tripicon maybe. I also want Skywarp. I love these encore releases.
Zie:
So gonna get Metroplex.
Always wanted a city bot
Javi 2 Suave:
Hmmm...
$79.99 plus outragious shipping for a KO on ebay....
Or
$84.99 for a official reissue from BBTS...
DeathStorm:
Being a G1 collector (original and reissue), and not having a lot to choose from over the past few years, this is all going to hit me hard in the wallet.
It really makes me question if I should conitnue collecting. Do I really need multiples of the same figures? Do I really need to spend the money when I could be paying extra on my car? Do I really need to collect toys that I don't even play with anymore?
Decisions, decisions...
Soundwave84:
yeah going to have to hit up Encore 12
Fosterlager:
That Skywarp/Thundercracker box might be pretty big, unless they are packaged back-to-back.
Ruination04:
Where is Thrust & Ramjet?!?!?! WAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
nkelsch:
Hmmmmmmmm, I Have a vintage Metroplex, but it might be nice to have a new one to go with a possible reissue Trypticon.
I am sure all those innocent parties forced into back alleys to buy KOs are now excited that they have the opportunity to get rid of that placeholder they bought for a real thing. Here it is! Real thing!

Same here, I just pre-ordered two of each.
I'm not missing this boat.

I hear you. I don't buy reissues of G1 anymore. I have a complete set of originals and multiples of multiple reissues. I don't see the point anymore. I just buy something they reissue that I don't have, like Japanese exclusive stuff...like metrotitan! I would buy him, but skywarp and Thundercracker and Metroplex? I already have MIB originals of all three, plus the hasbro reissues of TC & SW and also those 2001 Japanese Convention exclusives of TC&SW.
BarBoBot:
Encore FTW!
Add me to the list of those who passed on the KO Metroplex....
Storm:
that metroplex is tempting, but if i get i won't be sure what to do with my vintage one.
tranzfan:
This news just made my day. I have an original Metroplex I was originally trying to complete. I thought of just buying the KO and calling it good, but am glad I waited. An official metroplex reissue is the way to go. Now if we could get official reissues of the Dinobots.
Might Gaine:
I wonder why Takaratomy decided to do Metroplex. Yes, it will cut in on Kidi Toys' (the KO makers) share of the market, but it also will cut in on their share. They'd make more money doing Trypticon or another similarly-sized bot.
Maybe they are betting that people will buy the official release instead of the knockoff? I think that's a simplified view of things--Resellers will clearance the KOs out in response, putting demand for the lower priced KO back up near that of the real reissue, and in the end, Takaratomy will still have to split the market with the KO makers.
Plus, there are better ways to get at a KO company than competing with them. E.g., suing them.
This confuses me.
DoubleClouder:
I wonder if they will give Skywarp purple launchers and rear wings like the original prototype to make him look more show accurate
Valkysas:
metroplex! fuck yeah!
and I assume it'll have chrome legs and rubber tires. which will be awesome.
NOW BRING ON TRYPTICON. CITY-BOY NEEDS SOMEONE TO PUNCH.
Fosterlager:
Maybe Metroplex was planned for months now. They are releasing the Season Three Minibots, the ones always associated with Metroplex. Not the season one, two or the TFC set.
alien:
YAHOO!!! God damn...love it!!!
Lone_Decepticon:
Nadie come galletas cuando hay pan!!! I say, "Mierda," to those KOs! Yes, friends, I wrote in Spanish. LOL. Im digging these new reissues!
