I wouldn't mind the green sub minicon and the shockwave PVC.
Omegatron1:
I think it's interesting that those PVCs don't include any repaints- no seekers, no Bublebee-Cliffjumper. Are you paying attention, Hasbro?
flywheels:
Woohoo! A fellow board member came though and picked up both Microns for me!
Kaijumaster:
Oh...my...gosh, my Sub Minicon has been mis-transformed since the day I got him.......

seriously i'd love get some of them
Automorpher:
Phew, not enticed by these. That's good news really as I haven't been able to control my buying urge for TFs nowadays & this could jolly well get me started for now.

Till more goodies! *Keeps my pounding wallet*
Aernaroth:
This is a really interesting tie-in, as I don't really see any connection between transformers and canned coffee.

Still, the chases are pretty cool, Coffeemus Prime, Starbuckscream and Mocchatron.
NemesisBruticus:
I want some.
saberconvoy:
If i can get a hold of the Prime ill be fine.
viper2391:
Luckily I'm in Japan right now. I got these from a convenience store named LAWSON. There are pretty much cheap around Y120 including the coffee.

I'm still hunting for the Gold Megatron and Starscream though.
ninety:
Anyone looking for the PVC's or Microns, here's where to get them:

***COFFEE MICRONS Rare Mini-con alert!*** I've gotten a bunch of questions already about the Giant Planet Mini-con recolors Cradon and Seawave, which are exclusives to double packsof Boss Rainbow coffee. The toys came out today, and although many stores appear not to be doing the promotion, I have already gotten some in hand. The figures are not blind packed, but the Mini-cons are much more desirable than the non-transforming gold figures, so some spots will probably only havegold guys left very soon. I will be asking $30 for the pair of both Mini-cons together ($15 each if you only want one of the two). If you have already ordered another itemsuch as Wildrider or the Seekers from me, I can put the Mini-cons in at no additional shipping. If you only want the Mini-cons, I can ship them by standard air mailfor only $6. (The coffee is not included, because it is too heavy to ship at a reasonable price!) In the event that the promotion ends soon and I can only get a set numberor pairs, I will distribute them in the order I receive requests, so please send your confirmation sooner rather than later. Now the only mystery is what promotion the final team member will come from!

Please send all purchase requests and questions to hydradw@yahoo.com
I've got a set of the PVC's coming, Yaay!
flywheels:
Just got my first set of these Microns yesterday and I love 'em...even if they have that early 90's day glow vibe going on. Can't wait for the entire set to arrive that I picked up for super cheap off Yahoo! Japan.
Sunstar:
I am getting the chase Starscream and the Coloured Starscream Guy on ebay. And I am getting it with the coffee too. Might as well try a beverage from the other side of the planet.

Question I have, is how "rare" are these things?

Not rare at all, flooding japanese auction sites and going for next to nothing.
flywheels:
Neat little novelty items, but cobra's right...there are tons of them currently on Yahoo! Japan.
Sunstar:
they are cute in any event
BigPhill:
I got my Boss Coffee MiniCons yesterday. I was a little worried that the Crane/Truck one looked a little cheap, but its fine in person.

Here's a couple of quick pics;

Altitron:
Hey all,

Thanks to Biscuit and a random purchase by a co-worker of mine, I got introduced to Suntory/Boss' special releases - a pair of minicons and a line of G1 PVC figures included in lids attached to certain brands of coffee. I'm so psyched! Check them out!

Two of the figures offered in this small line transform, and are redecos of Astro-Hook and Astro-Sinker (yellow and green, respectively). For the G1 PVCs, there is Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide, Wheeljack, Jazz, Bumblebee, Soundwave, Astrotrain, and Shockwave. Each of these stands about as tall as a Robot Heroes figure (as you can see), but isn't as beefy. It's like a miniature Action Master. You know who I had to pick up.

Let me know if anyone is interested in picking one of them up to add to their collection - they're only about two bucks! It's worth noting that there are also 'gold' versions of Prime, Megatron, and Starscream, and these three stand as tall as the transforming minicons themselves.

Surprisingly enough and contrary to just about /every other/ Japanese collect-'em-all runs, none of these are blind-packaged, meaning I can tell who I'm going to get just by looking at the can, making it pretty easy to hook my fellow fans up. Enjoy the pics and PEACE OUT

Sometimes being stationed in Japan ain't so bad.

- Alty
UTK007:
Altitron,
this is old news man. But the minicons are great. I got mine here in the states a few days ago.
videriant:
@UTK007

How'd you get them in the states? I've only heard about this news now. =)
