General Tekno:
Wasn't bad.

Though is is just me, or is Treehouse of Horror shorter than it used to be? I got the impression that they were way too short.

Yeah the TF episode was wayyy to short. I was like omg awesome! A full episode of transformers on The Simpsons Then it got stupid...
Rumble02:
very funny stuff. love the title
Monkey-Hands:
Haha, that was cool.
Glitcher:
Ouch. Shaky cam and zoomed in view don't make for pleasant viewing. (Why do people do this? I wouldn't try it even if I had a video camera.) I think I'll wait for a direct feed video.
Ruination04:
I titally missed this episode because my stupid guide on the tv hadn't switched over to standard time. It said the show came on at 10 and I think it came on at 9.....either football or the time change messed it all up.....
Ra88:
What a surprise, it's a boring mess...

God I'm feeling old, I remember when The Simpsons was funny.

hm. same here. i miss brad bird.
Wodicus:
I wasn't to impressed by the episode, I thought it was just boring. I wish the Simpsons would go back to the good ol' days of when it was actually entertaining. Somedays I wonder why I bother watching anymore.

I thought the Transformers episode was lame, honestly, it seemed to me the robots resembled go-bots more so, though it is a different animation style.
optimusprime42:
that's was funny
eriku:
Awesome episode. I always appreciate gadget-bots and now I want toys of all of those. I loved Homer's scream as his car transforms, although it wasn't quite as funny as the episode of Clerks where a car transforms with the driver inside and blood squirts out.

The Grand Pumpkin episode was excellent, too.
"I brought pumpkin bread for you."
"How wonderful! Bread made especially for pumpkins!"
"Actually it's bread made from pumpkins..."
*vomits* "REVENGE!!!"

Nothing funnier than a traumatized anthropomorphic pumpkin god. That's classic Simpsons humor right there.

Q : Why can't I watch your videos from outside the U.S.?
For now, Hulu is a U.S. service only. That said, our intention is to make Hulu's growing content lineup available worldwide. This requires clearing the rights for each show or film in each specific geography and will take time. We're encouraged by how many content providers have already been working along these lines so that their programs can be available over the Internet to a much larger, global audience. The Hulu team is committed to making great programming available across the globe.

I've found it online, just need to know where to look. I've PM'd the site to you two as I'm not sure if I should post the link on here.

Mods, can I post a link to it, I seem to remember that's against the rules?

It's OK, it's a got a couple of laughs in it, but it seems a bit of a wasted opportunity to me, the end is the best bit.
General Magnus:
Meh.......
swarlock:
I liked it. Short or not. It was fun.

Especially the ending.
VE Telus:
The torrent file for "Simpsons 20x04 - Treehouse of Horror XIX" is easily available. Just Google it. Great quality episode, and hilarious.
Beastbot X:
Eh, they started out with a plot and then the writers just sorta... lost interest and just had TFs fight everywhere. Bleh.

The Nacho Machine crying was awesome, though.
Deadend:
Hulu has it up if you'd like to watch the whole episode. It was awesome funny. xD
xSEANxLONGx:
This is The Best Thing The Simpsons Have Done in Awhile! I still love the Humor that How Family Guy and South Park have been lately.

Also Thanks to Everyone That Wished Me a Happy Birthday!
tikgnat:
Guess how many times I laughed?

None!

Thats worth a LOL. But not really.

Thats a lie actually, the plane being punched in the nuts then vomiting passengers made me chuckle.
UnicronHound:
I loved the sex toy part "Where haven't I been?" Also that ATM bot would be great to have
Starscreamer95:

Not very funny...at all, and missed Halloween by several days. It's a shame how far the Simpsons have fallen (I MADE A PUN).

That's an interesting criticism considering A: New Simpsons are only shown on Sundays. B: Halloween was on a Friday. C: There were not several days between Halloween and this episode of the Simpsons.

I think a lot of people may have just gotten tired of the Simpsons because it has been on a very, very long time. I used to criticise the show all the time after season 9 or 10, then I stopped watching it for a few years. One day I was watching a rerun and it was such a good episode that I wondered why I had never seen it before, assuming it was from an earlier season. Turned out it was from a later season that I had skipped, like 15 or something. It was every bit as funny as anything from season 3 through 10. That's when I realized the Simpsons hadn't so much gotten bad, it was that I had just grown tired of them. So these days I find that I appreciate the show much more when I don't watch it constantly. Think of it like candy. How good is chocolate if you're devouring it all day long every day? The chocolate will stay the same but you'll probably get sick of it and maybe even think, "I hate chocolate, I used to love it so much!"

That's all a generalization of course. Certainly there are episodes of the Simpsons where the writing has varied in quality. I just don't think it's on the fundamentally grand scale that so many people seem to think it's on.

My brothers girl friends name is melody. she has the dead lift recourd at her school so we call her the man in the relationship
pscoop:
There were a few parts that made me chuckle on Sunday, but I had drank a few beers. I agree that the writing on the show isn't as great as it was a long time ago. And it makes me sad.
Moonscream:
I thought it was cute and the end funny, tho IMO the 'Sextoy' bit was inappropriate for a family show. But then I haven't watched any TV regularly for something like 5 years now.

optimusprime42:
i agree sexy toy was not a good choice
Bottom Out:
wow that was bad, simpsons has got to go, they need to retire

and that whole sexbot was an attempt at family guy humor, only simpsons did it horribly wrong
optimusprime42:
nope they need to be around alot longer
Screambug:

if i liked stale comedy that desperatly tries to be like southpark and family guy then i'd agree
Liege Prime:
I haven't actually watched a new episode in a few years, so I can't say exactly how I feel about the writing. I felt the movie wasn't too great and this skit was amusing, but not actually "lol" funny. The Simpsons always seem to go through some drastic changes though. I have a lot of the seasons on DVD that are available, and the difference between season 1 and 4 are insane. Just watching the episode in season 1 where Homer brings the family to Mr. Burns employee dinner at his mansion, and the family actually humiliates Homer, who becomes ashamed and then tries to bring some unity to the family is nothing like what you would find in the writing 4 years after.

I think people have become tired of the Simpsons though, thanks to overabundance of not only the Simpsons, but also a fat, idiot husbands. Honestly, when did it become the ultimate comedy routine to have the husband a fat idot or at least just an idiot? Probably from the Simpsons.
