The Loyal Subjects have announced the latest edition to their series of 3 inch PVC Transformers figures. Their next release is a three pack of Rainmakers! The pack contains Acid Storm alongside the blue and yellow Seekers, who are not named on this release. The set comes in a retro box and is a limited run of 500 pieces, priced $45.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Having adults that spend time on message boards to read about, share information on sightings, and discuss transformer toys then dissing others that are doing the same thing is kind of weird.
In the end, it's vinyl instead of plastic. It's a collectible straight up instead of a toy that people decide to collect. To each their own, but some people seem condescendening almost in their tone which is quite laughable again given the fact that most people are adults shoping for toys in whatever fashion they have been implemented.
Otherwise, for "vinyl collectibles" such as these you need to heat the figure up a just a tad with a hair dryer a few inches away & then you will find that putting the wings into place is a snap (pun intended). The same thing happens with wings for other vinyl like this one:

Yes, I am a tramp that goes from product to product collecting Transformers, Spawn, Kid Robot, Kuso Vinyl, Tim Tsui, Martin Hsu, JLED, Jesse Hernandez, SuckLord, Skelanimals, Gloomy Bear, Teddy Troopers

…love these things, they got that mighty muggs feel but go further! thanks THE LOYAL SUBJECTS for keepin it simple but desirable.

I don't really mind them too much, they could do with slightly smaller pegs for the weapons/wings. Plugging things in on those things seem to be nightmarish. The price also really kills it. Really liked Grimlock until I saw how much getting him would actually cost.
I'd honestly much rather have Robot Heroes back or Mini Mighty Mugg versions of TF characters. The Star Wars mini Muggs are adorably awesome. Still sad we never got any 3 packs for the TF line. Maybe something they could pursue for the 30th anniversary?

Cool. I like the colors on those rainmakers as a group

Dig my blind box Megatron and 8" Optimus. I guess I have bad taste.

I bought a Thundercracker one last year, and while it's kind of adorable, it's designed kind of shitty. Popping his wings in — and even attaching the gun to his hand — is a nightmare.

I have the Optimus Prime (regular blind packed version) sitting on my desk at my office. I think it is cool looking
BScorpinok75
i was stating i was glad they didn't name him Sunstorm because most folks confused the two as being one in the same
wrecker
They did a sunstorm exclusive for nycc.
BScorpinok75
glad they didn't name the yellow one Sunstorm

For what they are I think they're pretty cool, I liked the Thundercracker I got last year. But in no way shape or form are they worth $15 each. For $5 or less they're a fun impulse buy, but the retail prices for the whole line have been crazy.
Weirdwolf
The yellow one shall henceforth be called Jet Stream, the green one is already officially Acid Storm, the light blue one shall be called Macroburst. Of course, we also have Sunstorm as the orange one. There should be a white one with powder blue and black trim called Blizzard.

One day the other two rainmakers will get names.
This is not that day.

Companies seem to keep churning them out si I assume there is a market there.
Just because it isn't something you like doesn't mean it sucks.
I like the designs, but just not looking to collect these, some company needs to make some Robot Hero/legends of Cybertron type stuff again.
HillHopper_WFCTX_100045
I don't get it

They look like the love child of a rogue mighty mugg and a lonely kreon.
