Good news for anyone who doesn't have a Costco membership. Kind of surprised TRU took the risk though since the Universe one warmed shelves for so long and eventually dropped to like $30 in my area.

WTF are you talking about? We were told at TFcon that this Unicron was coming to a brick and mortar retailer. But the Hasbro guy got the wrong one appearantly.

I just came back from getting this. I thought it was supposed to be a Costco exclusive here in Canada. Oh well, I won't look this gift horse in the mouth.


Anyway. I bought it in Toronto at the TRU on Vic Park and Lawrence and after taxes it was just under $91.00. They had two more on the shelf and a bunch more on the overhead which no one can reach lol.

Unicron looks cool. I already have the Energon Black version of Unicron but i like this deco scheme and accuracy. If i see this bellow $50. I'd buy it then.

Most of the stuff like Unicron is imported from the US regardless if Hasbro have a Canadian office. For that import cost and tax is added. Also coming from TRU, there's the so called TRU tax/price increase that most people are well aware of.

No effing way!!! This made my day beyond anything. The nearest TRU is 7 hours away (Edmonton) and I'm actually going there next week. I'm so pumped, I'm hunting this guy down

Good luck Canadian fandom. I hope all of you who want this get it. I bought mine off of Amazon after it had sold out like 3 times and it is sweet! I left mine boxed because it displays so well and my Armada one is already loose. I hate it that it's almost twice as much for you guys though, that seems a bit shit to me.

Don't feel too bad. He is just the price of any ol' supreme class figure. Ya it sucks but hey $90 for a Supreme Class G1, ready for my Classics display, Unicron or $100+ on voyager 3rd party?

I think if you really want a Unicron (awesome paint aps by the way) $90 is not that big a price to pay for it.

If it were to show up in the US I would get it, but I've got the 2010 Takara version and it looks better IMO.
