OOoh I cant wait for it to arrive. Skywarp was a cracking masterpiece and the anime screamer was also really good. This one cannot fail to please !

um... wow? Looks the same as MP starscream. At $90+, I don't see the appeal of repaints. A $10 to $15 toy is one thing, but $90+ ... nothing like raping the customer base, eh Takara/Hasbro???

But I would definetly keep buying some of the 10 dollar repaints, unless they raise prices again, then I might stop collecting.

The thing with the Seekers is they look identical anyway. So obviously it's going to be a repaint and an obvious release. If you were CEO of Takara, you'd do the same.
Now as long as we get Masterpiece Grimlock next, I'm not complaining.

Rather than NEW characters, such as MP Grimlock, etc, we're being spammed with something we already have, just in a different color.
I'm sure most people here would rather have a smorgasborg of different characters, rather than 300 MP Primes, and 200 MP Starscreams. I realize that Takara/Hasbro is trying to get the money back for the production on the molds, but c'mon... enough already!!!
Spam the repaints on deluxe characters... keep the $90 toys original!!!!

I would love to have a bunch of different characters now but Masterpieces are not easy to design. I would buy Magnus again if they included armor/trailer I am kicking myself for not getting MP-04 for Prime's trailer. I am hoping for a Soundwave & Prowl before the line is done.

It doesn't look anything like MP SS. It's BLUE. MP SS's color may not be a total grey but it's def NOT this dark royal blue.

I’ve done several repaints of the Hasbro SS for people wanting Thundercrackers, and you can see and feel the difference in the plastic: injections lines and flashing are more apparent in the Hasbro versions.

Takara/Hasbro will keep doing this as long as people here are dumb enough to fork out cash for it. | Regardless if they happen to share the same mold design, you know perfectly well that the Seekers are 3 completely different characters... and they've always been like this. It's not as if these repaints don't make sense. In fact, these are about the only repaints that DO make sense. Things like Roadbuster Ultra Magnus, Nightwatch Optimus Prime, etc. and other goofy repaints that have zero relevance in the mythos are the real cash grabs. Starscream, Thundercracker & Skywarp, on the other hand, are 100% valid.
