Cool. I haven't gotten any MM's yet, but I might get Shockwave and Grimlock (looks like GL is wave filler for this one).
Anybody else thinking that they should do an Omega Supreme MM? Would look perfectly, imo, next to some Robot Hero figures.
Blitzwing256:

firehawc_69:
Ok, when I first joined TFW, I was pissing all over these things, trolling, making people upset, etc. Whatever.
I'm not here to do that now, so seriously, what's the appeal of these things? I just don't get it.
I'm honestly asking what the appeal is, please don't take it as trolling.
Omnius:
We finally get a new Shockwave and it's one of these. T-money:
I'm not collecting the Mighty Mugs, but shockwave looks cool as hell. These things are a temptation I have been able to resist so far...
AMG:
He looks great! I would love to have that next to my Megatron.

I'm honestly asking what the appeal is, please don't take it as trolling. | Well, this question is almost as useless as asking why people like vanilla ice cream when you only like chocolate. There is no accounting for taste. But even though you don't like something, can't you understand that other people do? I don't like Opera, but I understand and respect that other people do.
If you still don't understand how Mighty Muggs can be so popular and cool to certain people - I'm not sure anything will help you understand it. It's really a question of being open minded and tolerant. Check out this site (or others like it): Vinyl Pulse|Daily News About Designer Toys
If you take sometime exploring the urban vinyl toy movement that is global and over 10 years old, you'll understand that the trend is very often about variations on a theme. For instance 1 simple vinyl toy is often painted and customized in different ways by different artists.
Hasbro came along and mass produced the type of thing that is usually much more rare and expensive. IMO, there is an appeal and artistic excitement in taking a basic shape and using (usually) only paint applications, and creating hundreds if not thousands of unique characters - with the very same building blocks.
They are fun, cute, well designed - and more fine art sculptures than toys. The same way you seem to have trouble understanding why people like Mighty Muggs, I have a hard time understanding how you (and others on this site) can't simply accept and respect that people enjoy this affordable line of fun designer toy sculptures.
You don't have to like it to understand why others do. Hope this explanation helps.
Katamari Prime:
Logic dictates is must have this.

I'm honestly asking what the appeal is, please don't take it as trolling. | What is the appeal of anything? You either like them or you don't.
TFG1Podcast:
yesssss glad this is coming this month. As far as the appeal well I look at the TF mighty muggs as a novelty item more then a toy you can play with. They're just awesome
Scaleface:
I don't understand this line at all, and generally wish it would go away, along with gravity bots, Cyber Slammers and the Robot Heroes.
You'd think with a name like that it would at least hold a nice beverage for you. These bobble-heads-without the bobble seem to be the ultimate Transformers fail.

But any brand usually has got to expand into as many different product lines as it feasibly can. Transformers has gained enough recognition to try and be more than just a toy brand. Not everyone's going to like these secondary products, and they're certainly not going to replace the toys as the Transformers' main commodity, but I like having these options around in case something catches my eye.
Protoman:
Man, I want these guys........ here is hoping for unique Canadian packaging THIS time around.

They are like action masters without the action, articulation, show accurate robot modes or cool accessories. In other words - useless.
