That's really cool. If he ends up with a Shockwave-esque monocle, I think that'd be even neater, since he only had that little light that he used for communication in the G1 series.

Do these Roller pics look really different from the earlier ones they released? I can't find the originals, so I can't tell... but this one seems much more "traditional", compared to the sleeker, more spidery look of the first pics.
In any case, I like this look better. A scope head would be cool, though I also like the idea of one that's reminiscent of a simplified Optimus. After all, Roller isn't actually a distinct TF character in his own right. He's just an extension of of Prime's own personality... or something.

It looks like a 3d model done to work out the functional joints. I expect the detailing would come next to match the first image they released.

Am I the only one that doesn't like this?
I'm not sure why, but I don't like the idea of a TFing Roller. I am primarily a G1 fan, but it's not because it differs from the original, and I quite like the aesthetic. I'm a bit puzzled really!

i don't know about this one. it is geeky-kewl, but pushes the edge of my fandom. i wonder what is next? redesigning the Prime Trailer so that there is a new use for that robot repair unit? instead of it extending and using its arms/sensor panel, but what can you do with that?
it just appears that someone is taking an icon and trying to add more to his abilities.

I'm underwhelmed at this point and not because of the pics provided it's because of the previous pics. Those have Roller looking very movie designed..... That doesn't fit MP Prime at all....

Same for me, so far it doesn't really appeal me. I still hold my judgement for when I'll see pics of the real toy, but so far I'm not digging it.
