Also available at Wonderfest 2010 were Jizaitoys latest offerings, Sixshot (with all seven, yes seven, modes represented) and Ultra Magnus.

metalhawk looks awesome in both modes
Chaos Convoy:
I've seen that Metalhawk before. The Pretender "shell" version of him is a modded Microman. Minerva's cute, too. Someone on 4chan also posted a pic from WonFest of a non-transformable kit of God Ginrai that looked pretty cool
Dolza_Khyron:
tisk tisk, you ignored the sixshot, and ultra magnus kits.
and those transforming bikes looks pretty cool too ILoveDinobot:
Hawk!! I want !
shumworld:
That looks awesome.
Liokaiser:
That Metalhawk kit has been on yahoo Japan for like months if not a year. The Minerva figure on the other hand I have not seen and is most welcome in my collection.
Tekkaman Blade:
The announcement said Jaiza did the wst's he didn't. He just bought them and showed them off.
Masabon:
I participated in WF and took a photograph.
sanchomaul:
tthat sixshot looks nice
yoyoball27:
I have an MSIB sixshot, $300. I was sooo pissed when i saw sixshot, it would ruin the novelty of my freakin $300 toy. But then i saw "5cm". That was the most awesome thing i have ever seen.

these figures are made and sold by the dealer named GUNGS Borchitect, who made Nanoscale Wheelie and Springer in the past. http://jizaitoys.seesaa.net/article/140035884.html Backscatter: Quote:

Metalhawk was done a year or two ago, the metallic version kicks ass.
Automorpher:
Metalhawk, Ultra Magnus & Sixshot: Kickass YES!
Pricing, unfortunately, kickass NOT! The Wombat King:
Magnus is an old one. I bought him several years back. Which reminds me I need to dig him out and sell him.
dak:
correct me if i'm wrong... was the WST Sixshot not the one that won Botcon 09?
Repugnus:
Oh man, that Metalhawk and Minerva look great! Unfortunately, Tokyo Hunter's blog says he stoped taking orders for them days ago. I've never tried to buy Wonderfest exclusives before, so does anybody know of a good website to get them from?
BB Shockwave:
Hmm, well there already exist an (unofficial) downsized Sixshot, made by the same chinese company that did the WST gestalts.
guard convoy:
i would kill orphan babies WITH a dead orphan baby to get ahold of that metalhawk....i'll take minerva as well, i need me some masterforce

It is quite mixed up $ 112 when I calculate for the $ 1=90 yen.
enkidoamark:
Wow. Cool stuff
destrongerlupus:
I was quoted $160 each by a private dealer. Evidently pretty limited run.
Information on these seems mixed and contradictory, but whatever, I NEED a good Metalhawk!

D/L | Because these are garage kits, there is little number of the production. A price rises in price by an auction,,,,orz

Although there was some confusion over it all , since the guy that entered it into the contest wasn't the one who made it. And i'm not trying to stir up trouble becasue i lost to it, i still came behind the Paper drift. It just seems a little odd that someone can enter whatever they want, even if they didnt' make it. But it's a site to behold, and you just can't understand the marvel of engineering until you see it in person.
Back on topic, I think these new kits are great, but i'd only consider getting the WST's....if i could afford them.
Randy!
PrimulArchangel:
as always such high prices.. These Guys are clueless at about the money they could make if they would mass produce these and sell them for a decent price like Justitoys does.

His blog says until Feb. 5, and this wasn't posted here until Feb. 8. So it's already to late.
I'm a big fan of minerva and would have loved to have add her to my collection.

MrSoundwaveGuy:
Minerva? YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But for people especially active modelers and dealers at major events there will be problems. It is not that you cannot do a mass production of a figure but then you are dealing with multiple license holder.
Take Minerva as an example
1. You are paying to use the word "Transformer" and the logo. So the product must be somewhat "different" from what the toy makers out there are doing (crossing something between Bandai, Yamato, Max Factory will be a big no-no).
2. The image of Minerva (human) is hold by Toei Animation. You will then have to do some cash chit-chat with that company.
3. The joints of the figure are using Kotobukiya's PPC-T09 ball joints and D-108 double joint ("in" type). You will have to pay another fee for that to use those in mass production.
4. Maker's own expenses and profit.
It is just not worth it to do mass production for some home-brew figure like this. Working with bigger companies like Max Factory or Kaiyodo might be a better solution. At least they can take care of those license that cost an arm and a leg.

Metalhawk and Minerva Transtech suit = x 100!!

I wish they would retool the head for universe Cyclonus and release him as Metalhawk though.

I already sold my last 2 Minervas to some TFW members here. The maker said he'll make more for the next summer WF, so if anyone wants these lemme know. I still have one more MetalHawk Kit too. These were crazy limited to like 30 or something. Shoot me a PM if you anyone is interested.

Crimson87:
That Sixshot looks very similar to a classics sized one that I've seen on the E-bay a few time and wanted to pick up.
Does anyone know who produces it?

shibamura_prime:
I wouldn't mind having that Minerva. Just have to find someone who'd paint and finish her for me.
Dark_Rage:
If it's unassembled, it should look just like any other resin anime figure mode kit; either all white or grey parts with some screws or metal pins to secure the inside of the body/limbs.
You can see unassembled anime resin kits on hobbyfan.com, pretty low-tech packaging (bag in a plain cardboard box), since it's an independant person casting them.
