With Transformers Prime set to premiere on the 26 November, what better way to see in the new show than a marathon of the show that started it all? Starting at 2am Thanksgiving night, The Hub will be running a Transformers marathon. According to 2005 Boards member Thundershot, the marathon will include the classic Generation 1 multi-part stories More than Meets the Eye, The Ultimate Doom and Dinobot Island. Be sure to set your DVRs, and while you’re setting them, don’t forget about Transformers Prime, this Friday the 26th at 4pm, with a special behind the scenes sneak peek at 3:30 pm (1 pm and 12:30 pm Pacific, respectively).

I wonder as well, but people in their early 20s are a little too jaded to appreciate it like us old timers did as kids in the 80s. It is on way too late for younger kids to watch it, but I would be more interested in what they thought

And here I am without The Hub.
Perfect.

I am curious to how many people this is reaching who hasn't already experienced the original Transformers. My guess is not many concidering the horrible time slot they are giving it in combination with the fact that the Hub is a new high end pay channel which most people don't have.
But for those in their early early 20s or younger and getting to experience what started it all for the first time on TV, I'm curious to what their thoughts of the characters/series/show is.

I saw this on my cable. when I was fast forwading thru the days to see what G-1 episodes were ainring. I noticed about 5 to 7 episodes from season one.
this is great for those who missed these episodes on the hub the first time around.

My question is why would any of us need to DVR these shows? Don't we pretty much all have this series on DVD?

Why not have the marathon leading up to the Prime premier?
Who do they think is going to watch G1 Transformers from 2-6am?
Do they know that turkey makes people sleepy?
Does Prime die?
Why are they not air TFTM?

Sadly Thanksgiving night the place I work at is having a Retail Marathon starting at 12
I would pay to have the Decepticons wreck the mall. . . .

I never stay up that late to watch it, just 'cuz I have to be up so early in th emorning, but I love DVR'ing them and watchin them before leaving for work, as it was like that back in the 80s. (Y'know, except then it was school, not work)
FMA1987
i dont mind it at 11 pm i love watching it late at night plus it helps i already have the DVD's so i can watch it when ever

Cool, I couldn't be bothered to check out what they were acutally showing, but that's a nice little set…y'know if I didn't have the DVD's and was going to stay up that late.

I have my dvr set to record all the shows, and they're just replaying MTMTE, the Ultimate Doom, and Dinotbot Island.

Was watching the DVR'ed G1 epsiode from last night during breakfast this morning, and there was a commerical saying there was a TF marathon starting at 2 AM Thanksgiving night. Don't know if anyone is staying up that late, but just wanted to post. If this has been posted already, sorry, i searched it and didn't see anything. The commercial didn't say if it was G1 or other series in the marathon
