Encore 10 Omega Supreme Gets New Face, Trans-Scanning Figures to Include G1-Style Catalog TAK10799
Autobase Aichi has posted information from the lastest issue of Japan's Figure-Oh Magazine, which contains some interesting information on upcoming TakaraTomy Transformers releases. The magazine confirms that Encore Omega Supreme head will feature a newly sculpted face to better resemble the cartoon character. Additionally, the upcoming Trans-Scanning Optimus Prime and Bumblebee movie characters will include a 2007 movie catalog that will be laid out similar to the original Generation One catalog style. No scans of these magazine pages are available yet. Encore Omega Supreme is due for a May release, while the Trans-Scanning figures are supposedly still set for release this month.

What's this about paint blotches and painted LE numbers all of a sudden? Where the hell did THAT come from?

I'm just gonna throw in an (almost) complete agreement with nkelsch, since no-one else appears to want to.
The updated copyright stamps only exist where they've had to remake the mould anyway; if they haven't, the dates remain as they were (as with Predaking), so arguing that 'the updated copyright stamp isn't enough for you?' doesn't apply in several cases.
A little tamped stamp on a hard-to see area, like the faction designations on the G2 figs, would be an ideal, and extremely cheap and simple, solution to the problem of distinguishing between originals, reissues and limited edition figs.

Believe it or not. I really am past caring at this point.
Now, if they wanted to stamp '1 of whatever' on it, similar to the copyright stamp, that probably wouldn't bother me. But no extraneous paint!
And reissues are 'the real thing.' They may not be the original, vintage figures, but they are released by the same companies. They're just as valid. Isn't that one of your arguments in the KO threads?
Dude, seriously, you are beating a dead horse here with this guy. He goes on every thread bashing knockoffs and reissues and then when people are trying to make points with him, he starts blaming you of doing shady business. I can't argue with him anymore.

My stance is still this: NO MARKINGS ON REISSUES WHATSOEVER, just change the production date.
Tim Formas:
I believe this thread has run its course.
