Italian Transformers website Autorobot.it has posted images of the box art for the upcoming Generation One Volume 4 DVD Box Set that will be released in Italy. The Box Set contains two discs containing Episodes 29 through 41 of the Generation One series. The box art was drawn by Emiliano Santalucia, the artist behind IDW Publishing's Spotlight:Blaster. Railguard:
I am still trying to find an American version of this DVD. I guess I'm just blind...and short on cash.
Megatronwp38:
THAT LOOKS NICE! The Rhino Box art was less then desirable.
Bgrngod:
Good Lord. Make G1 available on DVD here in U.S. for cryin' out loud. ARGH!
Venksta:
If they ever re-release G1 on DVD again here, I hope they do a similar job with the box like this Italian release.
Takara_destron:
And its another win for the Italian DVD boxsets. Fantastic art!
MNsor:
Be it a reward for not getting universe line here in Italy: Hasbro Italy is only distibuting a few models in the stores Upim ( whice is not to be found all over the country). Don't know whether it's Hasbro's decision to adopt this "strategy" and treating Italy like a 2nd class land or if someone at Hasbro Italy is fast asleep...
One thing is sure: repaint from the movie line (1st strike Prima, NW Prime, Evac) are still filling up the shelves (and we didn't even get the allspark line) and the situation doesn't seem to turn out better: plenty of repaint coming up from the movie line... wanna bet that we'll get all the repaints and lack a lot of new molds?
Sorry if I annoied you with my frustration :-)
UTK007:
The box says that the English language versions of the episodes is available on this box set. Too bad it probably cannot be used on region 1 DVD players.
Nemesis Liger:
And again the Italian Boxart is gorgeous. It's just so pretty it begs to be stared at it. I am curious about one thing though... How come something like this isn't released in the states?
Nightrain:
Just put it all on itunes and be done with it. There's absolutely no reason not to.
CDBROWN48:
That artwork is good......
