$150? I bought a minty minty complete (needs stickers is all) for about $60 just last convention.

Sixshot is an ace figure and I'm glad he's coming back again.

Oddly enough that's the exact price I got mine for in the exact same condition a few years ago.

Exactly, he is not hard to find and he doesn't go for more than $80 at a reasonable dealers table. I do like reissues and I do buy them but that is because they generally cost less than the original 25 year old toy. In this case I would say screw the box and give me a minty figure for less than half the cost of a new reissue


I will add though, he is a big super solid figure. I like him

He's a seller from ebay. I've bought quite a few things off there with no problems, I would expect the same from here, seeing it's the same person. The website is new too.

The problem with vintage is there is a really good chance a Sixshot has a) already yellowed or b) will most likely start yellowing in the future due to age.

I'll spend what he costs just to get one that is fresh (and with newer plastics) where I don't have to worry about these problems (at least not for awhile) and because my personal one has already started to yellow in the back. Also because he was my number one favorite G1 figure as a kid so I can justify the price.

This seller is also overpricing almost everything in his store so I'd expect the price to be lower than $150 when it gets to other retailers.

I'll wait for robotkingdom, or just wait for MMC. Do want a G1 sixshot, but don't want to spend more than I have to.

Got a near mint vintage with guns for $80 a few months ago. It just needed reprolabels.

I find this seller's prices to be quite competitive. Alternity Banzai-Tron and Galvatron are the cheapest around (even compared to Robot Kingdom). The only items I can see have gone up in price are ones that are getting more difficult to find. On recently released and preorder items, the prices are very competitive. The discount (noted in red) on certain items isn't applied until placed in the cart.

I wouldn't be surprised if RK and the others follow suit with a preorder at a similar price.

I dont really get the news aspect of this Red leader from Kapow let it slip what the retail would be days ago and we have know for even longer this would not be a cheap item.

But on topic IF he has some sort of premium paint job and the case is truly epic I might go for it other wise its a miss

I was just thinking about when we first heard this rumor a few years back, Sixshot & Predaking reissues I think it was, Predaking came out and no word on Sixshot...until now.

I've since gotten a nice minty vintage one, so no need for the reissue now, but 150 seems a bit steep to me.

I love Sixshot, he has always been one of my favorite characters from G1. I have the first reissue from the early 2000's and I think I only paid like $70 or $80 for him. I was hoping to get a second one once I heard of this, but not for $150.

Unless you build a fairly significant POL......i'd say one of the Asian sellers will work out cheaper.

2. I used to have Sixshot, in my opinion he's definitely not worth 150USD. He's pretty uninspiring in all six (or seven) modes.

Rumor of Encore Sixshot has been around for quite some time...all the way back to 2nd run of Henkei Convoy. Until RK or BigBad lists their preorders, I remain skeptical.

Yeah, that must be it, although the name doesn't ring a bell. Having said that though I haven't bought a TF since December, so that might be why it doesn't ring a bell.

150USD for Sixshot definitely not worth it but as for his 6 modes,so far no other bots in TF history can match this type of alternate transformation,correct me if i am wrong.

G1 Greatshot

G1 Greatshot's a remolded Sixshot.

G1 Quickswitch is the Autobot version of Sixshot with six modes, and was redecoed in Japan as well as Sixknight.

RiD Megatron has either six or ten modes (depending on whether you get the Hasbro or Takara version of the mold) and Galvatron has ten modes.

Damn. I remember when I was in High School I bought a c9 complete Sixshot off of Steve Scarborough for $10 and a "Shivan Dragon" from Magic: The Gathering. Does anyone know why this figure will cost so much? The mold is over twenty years old and the figure is essentially 99% plastic. Leader Class Ironhide has more plastic and gimmickry than Sixshot, yet is only 1/3 the price...

I wonder if BBTS will get this? I already have a pretty nice og g1 Sixshot but I would love to have a misb Encore version as well, 150 is kinda steep though.

Considering the high price, that fancy packaging rumor/speculation better be true...although I wish at the same time that it really wasn't. I don't need a leather or faux-leather box and am not very big on the idea of shelling out extra for a reissue, especially when loose originals (or hell, perhaps even some boxed originals, for all I know) in good condition could be had for less.

I would guess so, but then again the Asian market exclusive Generations and movie stuff hasn't shown up yet, though they did put up perorders for the Asian market Rodimus Prime and Sideswipe re-reissues that came out a little while ago.

Oh, just a clarification, it appears this is a stand alone reissue (like the original '02 reissue) and not part of the Encore line.

Given the price this is going for, unless it's a very limited run, I wouldn't expect this to sell out online anytime soon given how many people are already scoffing at the price.

In a nutshell, these guys came from the same country that gave you boys "Robot Kingdom".

I might I will wait to see the packaging and besides I don't have, nor have I ever owned, a G1 Sixshot before.

Then there's that MMC Terminus Hexatron thingy majiggy.........Which one to get, argh tough times.............

Pricey. I'm fairly sure this will shelfwarm as badly as Encore #20 Devy did/does, sad to say.
