ENI has posted the cover art to the Transformers Energon: The Ultimate Collection DVD Box Set, which will be released by Paramount Home Entertainment. This DVD Box Set, which contains the entire collection of Energon episodes, will be released on December 16, 2008.
Fit For natalie
Since we never got the Cybertron set, nah.
Cmdr Prime
December 16 2008 will that include Australia as well?
The Crazy Collector
I'll take a set.
Now just give me a R.I.D. boxset and I'll be happy. Come on Hasbro/Disney/Paramount/Saban/whoever! Give me my R.I.D.!
G1Jetfire
About a year from now, it might be found in the disorganized Walmart clearance bin. The box art will make it easier to find. The art isn't a deal maker/breaker for me. I look forward to receiving it and watching the episodes I missed.
Fit For natalie
They dropped it for some reason and rewrote dialogue that referenced events from it in later episodes.
Galaxy Convoy
What's the deal with that ep anyway?
Chris McFeely
The thing is, this runtime really suggests that all 52 episodes are present… 18 hours, 12 mins is 21mins x 52 episodes *exactly*. Whether or not its just a mistake, based on some gofer looking up how many episodes the series had and seeing 52 written online, or if "Scorponok's Scars" has actually found its way onto the set in some form, we'll have to wait and see…
Takeshi357
To say nothing of not dubbing all the footage that was edited out in the first place.
Meh, I'd be happy with a subtitles-only release. I'd never watch the dub anyways.
Wheeljack_Prime
Yeah, they didn't dub episode 33, so don't expect that one.
Optimus62
I have only watched G1 never got a chance to watch any of the others. What can I say, I was deprived as a child. When most of these came out I lived in the middle of nowhere and only got 3 channels on tv.
So I am definately going to get this to add to my colllection — no matter how bad it maybe.
Hikuro
Good luck on that one, though I would like a RID box set more than the Unicron triology crap. Although I am a bit surprised that they're doing a box set of energon.
It's funny to me, I don't think in any of these three shows, Armada, Energon and Cybertron they ever finished doing individual DVD volumes, they'd stop about maybe 5 or so volumes in.
Hmmm probably still pass on this though.
Jetstorm
As with Cybertron, I didn't like the show, but I do love the idea of a complete series set.
Oh how I want a R.I.D complete series set in REGION 1 lol… oh and UN-EDITED.
Big Bot
They do. I suggest you buy the Ultimate Collection being released in the UK next month, containing all 39 episodes. you will need a region free player.
Transformers RiD – Ultimate Collection: Transformers Rid: Amazon.co.uk: DVD
Shark Jumper
Come on after they do an armada box, I want RID already >_<
Unless Disney has the rights to that from buying Saban.
0R10N P4X
I like the show… Artwork is not important.
Takeshi357
And one word less and it'd be "Energon reviled" and it'd still be true.
I found Superlink to be at least a little more watchable. Kicker wasn't a total dick either…just a bit of a dick.
GENOZAUR
I wounder if the missing ep 33 would be included??
i would highly doubt it grifter prime
the only way i managed to get my hands on a english dub of that episode dvd wise was because i went and bought a complete bootleg dvd set off a fellow fan a good 3 or 4 months back before hasbro announced it would finally release energon as a complete series on dvd
bootleg or not having watched the entire series on dvd i can honestly say the guy did a amazing high quality job at digitally preserving and transferring each episode to dvd

Besides, box art is all that seperates the majority of TF DVD sets.
*slowly raises hand*
I….I like Energon
Yeah, a bit dissapointed in the choice of artwork, but I'll still consider getting this box.
better add me to that list because i loved watching the show if only because megatron/galvatron was such a badd-@$$ and also because the show brought back superion devastator and bruticus if only in a somewhat limited manner
Jason Blue Boost
Probably going to get this to complete my dvd collection. Only missing Beast Wars dvd's which I'll just borrow from a friend to watch.
Prowl
I dunno. I have Every Transformers series on DVD. But how it pains me to do this.
