Well, not quite. Force of Habit is a new free prose story that's available on the site right now. It features art from the ever-talented Jackpot and was written by Greg Sepelak (M Sipher) and Trent Troop (me).
Jackpot will be returning for art duties on the upcoming Withered Hope, a Transtech story that's set to debut soon.

Soundwave84:
damn i thought i had found real news haha oh well.....it still sounds great!
Beastbot X:
Awesome, I'll have to read that soon. Sipher and Troop always do excellent work.
Weird, though, I was expecting another Transtech story.

Weird, though, I was expecting another Transtech story. | The Transtech stories will continue on the members site. In fact, Withered Hope is coming up soon!

Think of Force of Habit as a bonus story. More Transtech is on the way in the members area, but Force of Habit gives you a bonus to tide you over until then. Plus, it showcases Jackpot's art, and he's the next artist we have lined up for the TT series.

Dinobot Nuva:
You guys rock, the only thing that could've made this any better was Energon Rapid Run. Thanks for making my day with some spotlight on some of the obscure guys

Maximo Prime:
Yeah thanks for making me not want to sell Brushguard. Jerks.
No seriously that story rocked. I liked the art quite a bit too!!
Trentulas:
Oh, since someone asked me in PM, and there's no reason to keep this information secret:
If you want to know who to use for the minicons: two come with Universe Whirl, the Decepticon ones are the 'Micron Booster' Minis that were ex-partners of the Buzzsaw and Runamuck, and Grip-Lock is the Micron Booster 'Clamp'.

Thundershot:
So.... does this take place before the other Cybertron story? Because three of those guys eventually join Cannonball's crew as pirates... I saw no mention of it...

Dark Heart takes place a year or so after episode 52 (Inferno).
Given how much time passes in the series, this could be 18 months or even longer. Certainly long enough for the stranded Cons to join up with Cannonball. What they do inbetween the stories is anyone's guess.

Thundershot:
Ah, okay. Because I have something in the works that plays off of the other story... I don't want to step on anyone's toes.
Chris
Railguard:
Ah, its ok. I'm not impressed. The show seems like it was better. No offense.
Laser_Optimus:
Just finished reading it. Very very nice work as always Trent.
If I may ask though... who are the Decepticons that are attacking Ultra Magnus' ship? I know there was mention of a handful of Terrorcons, Slugslinger was obviously described and I'm guessing that the robotic T-Rex mentioned is Predacon from Armada, but I'm wondering who the other two Decepticon jets are and the two gunships.
Also, do you have plans to do stories for the other ships that you mentioned in this one? Scavanger, Rodimus, Arcee, Bulkhead and Sparkplug's crews... not to mention more on Magnus' crew would be just as fun to read, I think, as this one.

The jets are LOC Sunstorm and Cybertron Skywarp, as I recall, though it is never explicitly stated. Quote: |

| There are no direct plans as of yet. We have a lot more text stories in the pipe for the club this year (and beyond), but right now the focus is on Axiom Nexus (which means you may see more UT characters due to its multiverse approach. Scattorshot and Menasor show up in Gone Too Far, for instance).
I'm glad to see most people like it. Quote: |

| None taken, though a little more in-depth information on what fell short for you, as well as what worked, would be useful in the crafting of future stories. Constructive criticism is just as welcome as praise.

I'm glad to see most people like it. | Cool. I like the Axiom Nexus stuff so more of that is good, but the UT stuff just has so much room for the club to work with that you guys could do too so I'd personally love to see more of that as well. Especially when you start using characters from Armada & Energon who got shafted in Cybertron and didn't show up for whatever reason. And it's cool when you guys use the toy only stuff too. It just adds more characterization to the figures that I own and that's a good thing.
Keep up the good work and look forward to your next story. Autobot X:
I loved it. Characterization and artwork was great, and although there were a few small typos and errors (solider=soldier, perhaps), it was a great story. I adore the idea of Combatron and other colony worlds other than just the ones in the show. You've opened up tons of new possibilities!
