The-Arker has revealed the new Star Wars Transformers Crossovers Magnaguard Starfighter. In addition, they have shown the new packaging for this figure, and the rest to come later this year. The packaging is more compact, and uses the unified styling that all upcoming packaging for Star Wars toys will feature.
The newest figure to be revealed from the Star Wars Transformers Crossovers line, the Magnaguard Starfighter is a support robot for General Grevious. Click on the title bar to see more!

Sandcrawler to Jawa TF would rock!! I personally don't mind SWTFs, plus the last few waves have shown a vast improvement! I dig the Magnaguard!
TIE Bomber
Better question is why do most Transformers fans have so much hatred towards these? (and Gobots). Transformers fans should love anything that transforms between a robot & vehicle. But instead they hate everything. If it doesn't have Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron or a million G1 references involved TF fans automatically HATE.
That's what sucks about this fandom & the GI Joe fandom. All the constant hate & negativity.
I'm hoping Hasbro will keep making these. I want an A-Wing, Y-Wing, B-Wing, Sandcrawler, Star Destroyer, Blockade Runner & anything else they can think up.
@l3x
Magnaguard will be my first SWTF. I really like the look of it.

Anything with the Star Wars name attached sells by the bucketloads according to a retailer friend of mine. Star Wars fans will buy anything. The geeks
This is probably the best one of these I've seen, although tbh I haven't really paid the line that much attention except to see if there's any customising potential.
That would actually be quite awesome.
Sentinel Pax
So…why do they continue to make these?
TIE Bomber

Magnaguard looks good, if I have money in the wallet I'll get him.
Wait, I haven't even seen Captain Rex yet?
Dinobot Nuva
I've got two of those. Episode 3 line much?
SoundMaster
Sold. I might even buy two, one to put on each side of Grevious.
NFossil
This.
Death Star Unicron would be awesome.

In theory…the idea of SW-TF crossovers is awesome, due to the 'realistic' style altmode nature of the SW universe…however, in reality, the engineering & proportions of the SW botmodes is often less than compelling.
These particular 2, look decent imo… but not anything special either.
Dolza_Khyron
not bad, BUT too many movie toys out that i wanna focus on, so, screw this…
Deadend
Magna Guard is sweet! That's what I've been waiting for from this line!

What I don't like about the early SWTF's is that instead of incoporating the parts of the vehicle into the parts of the body (eg Sunstreakers legs are the rear of his car mode) they tried to hide the bodies in the vehicle, so in robot mode you ended up with essentially a cape of vehcile mode parts.
I'm glad they've started to move away from this – personally I'd like to see this line revamped post ROTF in a transformers oriented crossover, as opposed to the Star Wars one we have now (ie Transformers characters with Star Wars Alt Modes, not Star Wars vehicles that change into Star Wars characters).

Not fantastic, but the design is decent. And for a Star Wars Crossover TF, this is awesome. IMO, previous Star Wars Crossover TFs have not been designed well and have crappy looks, but this one was well made. Another one I think is great is General Grievous, which is definitely better than this one.
Still, I give it a bay for nice design.

…the Magnaguard is almost passable. Almost.
Man, this line is full of craptastic molds. Seriously.
