Multi-changing transformers are often times very popular with fans, and Hasbro is offering a quadruple changer from the character transformation of Anakin Skywalker to Darth Vader in the Star Wars Transformers Crossovers line! Each character sports an alt mode spaceship from their allegiance, with Skywalker’s Jet Mech and Darth Vader’s Star Destroyer.
Our update today comes with our first in-hand photos of this toy, as well as a review of this toy. Is this a figure you’re looking forward to? Check out the review posted in our Transformers Feedback forum and be sure to discuss your thoughts after viewing the images after the jump!

nice pic there of Highbrow, although his props are painted! mine aren't
Hosta
you can say that again! Toys R Us Glasgow has him in for £50….& yes…..it pains me to say this(in the event that i'll be losing major kudos, as well as £££) I did buy him.

My Marshall's has a bunch of these, I should check the price (it's prolly more than $15). I think the 4 yo might enjoy this guy as a christmas present – he likes vehicle modes most and this has firing rockets and lights and sounds.
Edit: Wait – he does have firing rockets right???
Thelonicon
My local TJ Maxx had a bunch of these guys when I stopped in a couple weeks ago. I guess I'll swing by there tomorrow morning on my way into work and see if any are still there. $15 is about what I figured it would be worth to me.
Snake_eyes1975
Hmmm…$15 is cheap enough..
Do all the little SW Commanders link on to it somehow? They all have little flaps that pop out…
NVM…read the 1st post.

Sorry to necropost, but this guy is now on clearance at TJMaxx for only $15. Personally as a quadchanger he sucks, but I picked him up for his Star Destroyer mode, which looks great. Plus Vader isn't that bad for those unlucky ones who missed the Death Star. Overall he's worth 15 bucks or less, but anything else is overpriced.

It's a quadchanger in the sense that Animated Shockwave is a quadchanger or BW Transmetals are triple changers. At least the source material is a valid excuse, the Republic Cruisers were designed to be Star Destroyer forerunners.
megatroptimus
2 vehicles is huge stretch… you only turn it upside-down and move a couple parts. Nothing mindblowing here.
MidnightBliss
For $20 it is a steal. 2 bots, 2 vehicles in 1 toy. For what they had to work with I think they did a damn fine job.
megatroptimus
Late reply but… that's no excuse. The technologies (joints, plastics, etc.) are out there, different design team or not. Use them and do what you want with the rest!
Ray Kremer
I haven't seen it on clearance yet, what the heck? I did stack a couple TRU coupons to get it, though.
videriant
I bought two when it was on clearance for $20 after Christmas. It's so bad as a partsformer that I ended up returning the other one instead of displaying it in two modes.
RedAlert Rescue
It's now $17.00 !!!
Crikey the daft thing is £60.00 in the UK. Unfortunately it would cost a fortune to post even if I could get one that cheap so It's probably better to wait until it's £30.00 in the UK and free shipping.
TehPaws
Something of a necropost, but let's just say that at $17 clearance, this is actually a fun, sound-effect loaded toy with decent ship modes. I'd never have bought it at anything above 20, though.
MisterFanwank
Y'know, recently I've been looking at the figure as a figure that transforms from a Star Destroyer to a Republic Cruiser to Darth Vader to Guybrush Threepwood.
Seriously, that head's spot on for Guybrush.

I just picked this guy up from TRU for 20% off and I kinda like him. Sure there is a lot of kibble, but the electronics and the alt modes are fun. I do think this will be my last SWTF purchase unless something super awesomely cool comes out. This line has been completely played out.
Dolza_Khyron
yea, kibble, look at all that kibble.
they put so much kibble, it feels like the robot mode body parts, is actually the kibble, and the rest is the actual transformer
this is just so ridiculously horrible, that i depend it be the top of that plastic addicts top 5 list
and with that said, i will probably buy one after it goes on clearance for five bucks
kibble, it looks like a robot was attached to a big pile of broken ship parts…
MidnightBliss
So. I picked this up at TRU with the $5 off coupon from the movie.
I am more impressed than I thought I would be. The 2 robot modes are pretty good. The transformation from Anakin to Vader is pretty slick. The ship modes look as awesome as they should. Yes, it is a little of a parts former but, I can live with that.
I wish some of the pegs fit snugger than they do but, overall, the quality control is pretty good. No loose joints or sloppy paint apps on this one. The inclusion of a blue LED for Anakin is EPIC WIN.
For the price, I feel it was worth it. This will probably be my Anakin and the Vader Star will still be my Vader. If you go into it knowing you are going to get a "Star Wars" Transformer, than you probably won't be dissapointed.
Mighty.Maximal
I actually like the head on the Ep2 Starfighter Anakin quite a lot – but this head fails to look anything like Anakin and neither is it a cool head – whom does one ask about making a decent head for this thing?
