Possible Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck Pre-order donald
There has been a follow up on the rumored Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck which was posted earlier on the boards.

A clearer image shows the robot mode features on Donald as well as his alternate mode, the always familiar Volkswagen Beetle.

There has been no official confirmation on the release yet.

Jeeez... isn't it a little early in the line to start up the "omg no 'cons! this sucks!" arguments? There's only been one released, and this one is only rumored/kinda confirmed.

How come noone said Phantom Blot with Megatron as a alternative?
He's probably one of the more similar characters: No matter what his plans were, they were always ruined by Mickey Mouse. Arch nemesis?

Most people seem to link Pete to Mickey, though.
(If people don't know Phantom Blot, search it down.)

In most of the stories I've read with Mickey Mouse in them, where Blot appears, Mickey always stops Blot in whatever scheme he has planned, or the attempts to get rid of Mickey, too. But that's in Norway, of course. I don't know if he's used much anymore as a villain in comics in the US or UK etc etc.

Donald Duck / Bumblebee?! OH YES!

Love it. Gonna get it. My Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Transformers/Disney crossovers figures need more friends!

I wouldn't name Phantom Blot as an alternative, since I don't know who he is. Though I remember a shadow-like character being a sort of Mickey Mouse nemesis in the comics, but I can't even remember the spanish translation of the name. I'm guessing that's Phantom Blot, right?

If it is, I'd say he isn't mainstream enough ... but I guess Pete has the same problem.

If they ever do a villain in the Disney Label line, I guess they'll go with Stitch.

EDIT: just checked. The Phantom Blot is indeed the Mickey villain I was thinking of. He was called here La Mancha Negra.

The Phantom Blot appeared in an episode of Duck Tales, and a few more shot toons in "Mickey Mouse works", I think.

But, yeah, even though he's much better as the archenemy for Mickey, IMO, I don't think he's just that well known to the general public... To bad.
Zapera:
he doesnt transform into a yellow bettle he transforms into a police car witch makes him bumble-prowl duck!
Human Beastbox:
I think I'm picking this one up.

Phantom Blot came out once on Duck Tales and a few times on Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse. I agree that he would fit better as an arch-nemesis to Mickey except for one thing...

That Japanese wouldn't have a clue as to who he is.

Despite the Classic Disney toons' extreme popularity in Japan, the comic books are non existent there. While the Phantom Blot has appeared in a few of the cartoons, he's really almost entirely a comics character. Pete is well known and thus if any character got the Megatron treatment, it would be him (it's also the reason why Pete was a major villain in Kingdom Hearts II).
