I couldn't care less about the 1,309th Jedi Starfighter repaint, but I am getting that Battle Droid-- he's cool beans. He likes big butts and he cannot lie.

I'd like that droid if not for the fact that he looks like he's wearing a pretty blue dress in robot mode.


Regardless, I'm not getting suckered into buying another of these turds again. SWTF are dead to me now.

i want the troid, but only if its repainted all tan line the episode 1 ships...and i don't need another jedi fighter either...still gotta get the other ones i'm missing too, but they're so expensive now...its just not worth 20 to me...but we'll see...

I never see them on clearance. I don't like Star Wars but the Darth Vader Death Star looked pretty cool but not for 60 bucks. They are shelf warmers eating up my Animated/Universe space.

I thought that the Powers-that-be said they wouldn't do droids because they were robots already. Glad to see that's no longer the case.

(The other issue I remember with droids like C3P0 and R2D2 is that there's no vehicle specifically associated with them. We still need to work on that one....)

Maybe they could make rd-d2 as a combiner type thing. He did have his little cubby hole in the back of an x-wing.

It only took them like three years to make one of the million robot characters in SW into a transforming robot (grievous semi-counts).

It's the first figure that really makes sense, and it's awesome. The airbrushed blueish rounded parts are so Kobayashi.

Man SW fans must love these things since I dont see any one else getting these things and we are on what wave 8 or 9?

Wrong, they don't take away from Universe or Animated in terms of the planograms.


In '07 they moved like hot cakes, riding off of the first movie's popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened again this summer.

Kids love 'em. Pretty much whenever a kid sees my collection, they almost always end up fiddling with the SWTFs.

Oh but yes they do in my area. They have started putting deluxes on the bottom shelf at my nearest target.

It really is surprising that these have gone on for so long. Actual Transformers products such as Titaniums and Alternators are dead and buried. But these have taken a whole other life of their own.

Kids and SW fans alike must be doing a heck of a job with the support for this line.

I really wonder how much longer it's gonna take for a G.I. Joe Crossover to happen.

Battle Droid looks pretty damn cool. He will probably spend a lot of time in alt-mode on my SWTF shelf.

R2 could be the escape pod that he and C3PO took to Tatooine in that one movie of SW (>___> its been SO long since i've seen Star Wars..) Although I'd think that R2 might be a shellformer kind of..

I'm meh on the battle droid, the V-wing fighter is still on my want list. And that Jedi Starfighter mold has had more repaints than the original G1 Screamer mold. About ten more and it will beat Bruticus as "most over-used TF mold EVER" I think.

But what does anyone see in reusing that starfighter mold?

G.I JOE! now that is the only crossover I would buy but only if it was vehicle to robot in terms of like cobra hiss tank megatron or the snow cat into well, snow cat (would be the logical choice..hehe), or rattler starsream.....not things like a vamp jeep that turns into a robotic duke...or like a swamp skier that turns into Zartan....dont like that idea....if they did it that first way I suggested then you can actually play with G I Joes and TFs in a cool way where it would make sense ...can you imagine like a little kid playing with duke and a vamp then the vamp turns into a bigger robot duke..he would think thats gay

Seeing as how no Target planogram I've seen has the Star Wars stuff next to the Transformers stuff, I can't see how SWTFs would have anything to do with that (unless if the people in the toy department at that Target really just don't care).

Universe Deluxes being on the bottom shelf would make sense anyway, as they're marked as NCF (Not Carry Forward), and stores are going to stop stocking them in preparation for the summer reset.

Transformers fans LOVE Animated = Animated doesn't sell & gets canned.

Transformers fans HATE SWTF = They fly off the shelf.

Gods I hate this. As a TF fan and a SW fan, I really WANT this line to work, but it seems like they have inbreed kittens engineering the molds for these things. How hard can it possibly be to make a good SW vehicle that transforms into a robot with a vague resemblance to a SW character? If they could make Animated Longarm turn into an alien crane, a tank and Shockwave then they can make a better mold for these guys. That's 4 modes! We only need 2 for these guys to work!!!

AND STOP USING THE SAME D*** MOLDS!!! Gods! Where's my Jawa pimp sandcrawler that turns into crazy ol' Ben Kenobi, or Alderaan shuttle-thingy that turns into Leia? If you want to keep crappin' out Jedi, then make a better X-Wing mold and give it an R2 that acts as a mini-con / Targetmaster. Come on Hasbro! Do something better thah this garbage. I buy most of these myself (clones, occasional jedi), and everything he's said is spot on.

So these things have been out since the runs Cybertron, Classics 1.0, the first movie line, Animated and Universe/Classics 2.0

kit Fisto is BORRRRRINNNGGG! The mold for that ship is gotta be getting nasty and groddy and OMG the Battle droid is just yucky not horribly head smashing! so great job hasbro i guess?

I'm not happy that there's still not a third Jedi mold- we've had Episode 2 and Episode 3 Jedi starfighters, but nothing else. Surely some Jedi flew a different ship in a comic somewhere. As for me, I'm in the minority as a fan of the line- I think I have them all except the AT-AT repaint and the slightly remolded Clone gunship. I don't have any other Star Wars toys, so this sates my desire to have SW toys, but makes them slightly more interesting than just a ship on a shelf.

You would think for the price You pay for these things that they wouldn't look like third world knock offs. I dislike these transformers crossovers. let thank our lucky stars they didnt do a transormers indian jones crossover.

I hope that we get a Padme and a Star Destroyer before the line gets cancelled.
