Our sponsors Big Bad Toy Store have listed preorders for Marvel Transformers Crossovers Wave 5. Wave 5 consists of Spider-Man as a car, X Force Costume Wolverine and The Hulk as a bulldozer. While we have already seen the images of X Force Wolverine courtesy of The Toyark, the images of The Hulk give us our first official images of the robot mode of this interpretation of the green goliath. Check them out by clicking on the title of this story.

Gryph:
BBTS has preorders for the next wave of Marvel Crossovers, with official photos of the Hulk version of the bulldozer mold, which will also be used for The Thing.

Marvel Transformers Crossovers Series 05 - Hulk (Bulldozer) - Transformers Crossovers Marvel Crossovers at BigBadToyStore

They also have preorders for X-Force Wolverine, and race car Spidey.
Beastbot X:
Pretty basic for their size, but still rather cool. Will pick up all three.
Omega Charge:
That looks pretty cool, but I just don't feel the "Hulk" bot mode.
Hiro Prime:
"Hulk be like Buildbots, combine and SMASH puny Twin Autobots!"
Pauly T:
Hulk is meh. Call me when he's The Thing.

Racecar Spidey is cool, tho.
Fit For natalie:
Spidey Race Car looks a hell of a lot like the G1 Turbomaster Hurricane.
GAUGE0001:
The Spidey Racer is getting turned into The Gobot Renegade, CRASHER.

as for the Hulk junk,

Why couldn't they have just made this into Colossus or the Juggernaut???

I'm sick of Spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine, Ironman, and the other couple or so sell-out characters they use for these toys.

There is thousands of Marvel Characters they can use for these things but they insist on rehashing the same lame trademark characters over and over and so-on-and-so-forth again and again and again.
Omegatron1:
I think Captain Hummerica and Thorjet are the last two of these I'm ever going to by. Spidey looks like a Playschool GoBot.

Edit: With the exception of a Deadpool that turns into a bandsaw, or something else appropriate.

It looks like R.I.D.Wedge on steroid-laden Energon!!!
AniProwl:
If X-Force Wolverine was Trailbreaker, then this Hulk would be Bonecrusher/Scrapper.

That's why I'll get him instead of Hulk Tank although I'm a fan of good ol' Ben Grimm.
AniProwl:
Sorry for the double post, but is it it me or does he look a little bit like Armada Scavenger who had elements of his cancelled Transtech design?

Deathnoble:
I'm with Pauly. I'll keep my tank-Hulk and grab this mold up when its repainted into the Thing.

Man, I hope we get the other two Fantastic Four in this crossovers line-thing. Hopehopehopehope
soymonk:
Another Hulk and Spider-Man? Although I'm not a big fan of these, I prefer the Hulk figure that transformed into a tank.
Satomiblood:
I'm not gonna lie...that Hulk looks like a cross between crap and shit.
Ktulu:
One of the worst looking Marvel TF robot modes. That chest is hysterically lame.

This line is in dire need of more character variety. I guess they don't want to risk straying too far from the "big" characters in terms of sales. Ah well, I'm not buyin em anyway
siniquezu:
hulk tank was best.
Zie:
Honestly, if it weren't for the molded in webs, that Spiderman would have been a great base for a TF custom. I guess you could fill them in with puddy or something, but they should have just been painted on and not molded in.

And all that wolvie needs is a new head and a few decals and he's be a great new Trailbreaker.
U.Magnus80:
Wow. I thought the RotF figs needed to have more paint apps......Hulk almost has NONE.

Meh. Pass.
SmokescreenGT:
Looks okay, but I prefer the tank version.
Sharktibolt:
*sigh* Just give us new characters already. It's not the vehicle modes that are the problem, its the fact that we keep getting the same character over and over again. We have 3 Hulks, 3 Iron Mans, 5 Spider-Mans (black and red costumes), and 3 Wolverines.

Try someone like Dr. Doom. He's supposedly the mastermind behind all the bad guys, so where's his new body?
AniProwl:
I want Doom the most for the villains.
Satomiblood:
I'd like to see Sentinel in Supreme class.
TheIncredibleHulk:
I have no choice but to buy this
TheIncredibleHulk:
I have no choice but to buy this
tobuttica:
I think they need to make a Supreme class Galactus in a modified Unicronish form. I would buy that. I might even mod one of my Unicrons with a Galactus head and paint him pink and purple just to have one. That'd be super bad ass!
Autobot Burnout:
I love the Hulk tank, but not because it's supposed to be the Hulk (I could care less about that almost). The fact it's got hardly ANY paint apps plus the similar colors make it perfect for my conceptual Animated Bonecrusher. Hell, I might even be able to keep the head with some external modifications, namely make it less human, add the "goggle visor", and try to fit on a hard hat so it matches up with the other three Animated Constructicon designs.

Now I just hope I can figure out a way to give the figure a matching buttcrack...
grimlock1972:
ugh alt mode is okay but hulk mode is horrible id rather have the earlier one that turns into a tank
dragon:
more figures i see of this series more i say to myself what was i thinking in buying spidey bike, veonm & hulk tank these toys just lok to basic & preschool looking to me not much detail or anthing else i may sell mine & go with megamorphs version of these guys but i do perfer than tank more than this of the hulk.

to many repaints to many of the same characters & to many look basic lokoing
theestampede:
Does he even have elbows?
neospark1:
Bleh! Simply awful.
Ezilla82:
Tank one the best. This would be great for the Thing or maybe Bonecrusher. I might not buy this one either, so anyways...NEXT!!!!
Mr. Sparklebot:
Well, Spidey looks better as a car than the cycle, while Hulk tank was cooler.

Still, how about some other freaking characters for a change? This is like the 3rd different mold for Spidey already! Make a Sentinel TF, he's already a bot, he'd look cool!
Houndvoice:
Ugh, that's awful. In both modes. Please don't make stuff like this...?
RedAlert Rescue:
The Hulk Dozer seems at a glance to be inferior to the Hulk Tank - it's got less articulation a less good looking robot mode and looks a bit basic in vehicle mode.

I also think this is far below what I was expecting for a "Thing" toy too [If it's reusued as that] - I was hoping he'd be rock textured at the very least.

The Spider-Racer I don't mind - I even like that he looks a bit like one of the rarest versions of Playskool Speed-Bot. It might make a hald decent Spider-Sybiote character too (other than Spidey or Venom) or even the Scarlet Spider.

Taking a step back perhaps the line might work better as a Kids Playskool line sort of Marvel Playskool Transformers.

I agree about the over-use of selected characters again and again - They should at least be concentrating on Characters who have had an extensive role in a movie or cartoon show and therefore have more public visibility (as well as onces just from comics - but as we know kids hardly read comics any more) .

So with that in mind Doctor Octopus (Spider-Man 2), Ghost Rider (Ghost Rider), Colossus (X-Men 2 & 3), Magneto (X-Men 1,2,3), Doctor Doom (Spider-Man and Fantastic Four cartoons and Fantastic 4 Movie) even Sabertooth, Deadpool, Blade, The Green Goblin, Cyclops, Gambit, and so on make some sense as they've been seen in movies of recent years.

I'd like to see them try to attempt to complete the teams too so we'd need a fembot as Jean Grey, Rogue, and Susan Storm-Richards at some point... perhaps they could limit that to a 2 pack... or part of a combiner so it didn't become a shelf hugger.

I'd welcome a grey/silver/black repaint of the Spider-Man - Iron Man combiner
as they united colors make sense since Spider-Man is "Armored Spider-Man" and Iron Man would work as Stealth Iron Man or War Machine. just because it would look nicer.

Perhaps they could be repainted and sold single carded ?

If they wanted too they could even be sold as Iron Monger & one of the Venom symbiotes- but I'm guessing that is a stretch a bit to say that but at least it's a way to sell villans.

When I think of who would make a "cool" Transformer I think of the characters that are visually interesting so I'd consider Colossus, Jack O' Lantern, Or Hobgoblin, Morpheus, Ice Man, The Beetle, The Vision, Iron Fist, and perhaps even a Sentinel.

But to me the Key villans of each hero is a "Must" my personal choice would be Green Goblin (as he's ideal for remolds) and Doctor Doom & Doc Oc.

If all we ever see is Spider-Man adinfinitum I'd be quickly bored silly....

It's not so much that I mind the repaints so much as that we have several different Spider-Man molds already (Motorcycle X3, Helicopter X1, Car X2) as well as Venom and Carnage.

---------

One slight problem I've also noticed with Marvel Transformers is that often the Repaints have less paint on them than the original deco does - Hulk & Iron Man & Wolverine for example all have less paint on them than the 1st versions.

Perhaps some of the Repaints might be something better kept back for later re-packs (as the Spider-Motorcycle) or put in twin packs as gift sets. (Like the Star Wars Transformers Obi-Wan & Vader toy was).

That might be a way to see a Red Hulk or something like other Spider-Symbiotes or Iron Man armor colors without clogging up the main line with them.

6 Spider-Mans soon, actually. This racecar is going to be redecoed in Symbiote colors.

It is going to be used for a Thing, it was shown at SDCC '09. Orange-and-blue redeco of this mold with a new head.

Shoot, just what I want, another Spider-Man. I should probably get a red costumed one though. They still shouldn't be reusing characters like this, it just doesn't make sense like it does with SWTFs. I also forgot to mention the 2 Human Torches.

I say bring the Thing already. To me, this new Hulk is a repaint of that figure anyway.
Solrac333:
Use him as movie style Constructicon.
Dran0n:
Eh, I don't really like them Crossovers.
Buzzer-Bot:
I can see many of you kinda hate Hulk-dozer, but I don't!

I certainly think its unique enough, but a heavyweight guy like Juggernaut should take this mode.
lotussouljah:
Ugh, easy pass for the pockets. But I love this hugely because I just know some Radicon is going to pick this up and bash it into 100% concentrated awesomesauce.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who looked at this and saw Bonecrusher material. Actually I've been curious about this one for that reason since it was announced a while back. He's even in the proper colours, almost.

I agree, the robot mode seems... er... sub-par. However, chances are he's mistransformed. Up till now, most of the Marvel Crossovers have actually been pretty nicely engineered, so I'm hoping this figure will be better than he looks.

I agree with the predominant complaint though... even though most of these are just kitbash fodder for me, c'mon... how about some new characters already? WTF Hasbro??

I agree the main characters are over exposed, but do you even know what sellout means?

The marvel characters were never 'doing it for the cause', and even in the bullshit Golden Age where hacks like stan lee churned out their dull, preachy rubbish they were still very much sold out from the offset. With great sales comes great profitability, and You can't sell out when the sales were the sole reason for your existence.

God knows, people misappropriating 'sell out' is right upthere with putting dollar signs in company titles instead of S on the missing-the-point'o'meter (A company out to make money?! Shocking!). Drives me bananas.

Also: the marvel Xover TF line is awful. Really really bad. This one is worse than venom, which takes some doing.
firehawc_69:
Easy pass. I have Grey and Green Hulk tanks, and they look 1000x better than this thing, both modes.
Matterzero:
Meh, the tank looks a lot better than this.
RedAlert Rescue:
What's Wrong With Venom - Venom's Great - He's way better than say a Star Wars Episode 3 Starfighter / Jedi or Captain Rex - ATTE or the ATAT.

Venom's got a Car that has zero visible robot mode kibble in car mode - and he's big and well articulated in robot mode.... I like him lots he's superior to Spider-Man, or Iron Man that's for sure I'd say he's one of my favorites of the line along with Captain America, Wolverine & green Tank Hulk.
Fort Max:
I liked these things when they started but I'm going to have to pass this one off as an unfortunte mistake and hope they get better again because I want to see a truly awesome must have War Machine from this line next year.
C Spray:
Man That Hulk looks like shit..just like all the rest of the Marvel TFs.
