wow. The only thing these will be good for is customs. Besides spidey, that toy sucks more than part 3
SMOG:
Put me down as one more person hoping that the Venom is mistransformed. The car mode looks... sweeeeet! Kitbash fodder indeed!
As for Spidey... can't say it works for me. This one suffers from something that the others manage to avoid (narrowly)... that is, it tries to look too much like Spider-man, rather than a Spider-man themed robot. This is the failing point for stuff like this... earlier superhero pseudo-transformers and the SWTFs... having them represented by giant robot versions of themselves is just plain silly, and relegates these toys forever to the domain of "novelty" or kitbash fodder.
And since there's already an Arcee motorbike that works better than this nearly identical Spiderman, I don't see the point.

LightningZERO:
Venom looks great, but mistransformed...
Spidey now looks better in clearer pic!
Fort Max:
I'm liking all of these so far, they look fun.
Angel Magnus:
I...
don't get...
this.
Silent_Magnus:
Even if Venom isn't mistransformed I would still like his bot mode.
The gangly clunkiness fits him.
a person:
Venom looks fantastic in vehicle mode.
Devastattor:
Venom's alt mode is nice but that figure is not too good. Spiderman is a no go for me too. The only one I'm really feeling is the Hulk.

venoms car mode is fricken awsum!
Caterwaul:
Venom's Car mode is great...the rest of it is kinda meh. Hopefully he's just mistransformed, but he doesnt look all that bad.
Spidey? He looks like any other Spidey Figure with motorcycle kibble attached. He doesnt really look like a robot in robot mode at all. Failure. Predaking:
Spidey = Good bot mode, bad veh mode (I can see his limbs wrapping around themselves in the engine part of the bike... ugh)
Venom = Good veh mode, bad bot mode
I think I may pass on both, but Venom's car mode is really nice.
BlitzFire:
i like the venom vehicle mode...but not teh bot mode...bleh

Please accept my apologies if we've seen these before. | Lame.
Moy:
I'm sorry, but is there anyone who will agree this is a stupid IDEA? Whats next transformers BARBIE? Give me a break, the only people interested in these so called "TRANSFORMERS" will be people who don't really care about the authenticity of a nostalgic character.
Caterwaul:
They dare to make a figure line that doesnt cater to your particular tastes? Blasphemy!
wipeyourfeet:
Don't really like that many of them, though I'll wait till I see them in person before I judge. The Hulk looks all kinds of awesome, and i'm not a fan of the Hulk, so he's doing something right.

Seriously, variety is the spice of life. Its not like they're trying to intergrate it into Transformers canon so get over yourself, let me guess 'Bayformers raped your childhood' as well.

But then again, it aint about the fans or those who finanacially supported the brand all these years. They don't count. It's all about attracting the non-fan.
Then, once made into fan, they too will be disregarded for the next non-fan.
And so on.
flywheels:
Dang, Venom doesn't look half bad. Tempting...

Originally Posted by flywheels Dang, Venom doesn't look half bad. Tempting... | Actually, I think Venom looks exactly half bad. My first post was about how I dissliked him, but honestly I care more about the 'bot modes and I was just talking about that. His alt mode is pretty damn impressive. I will just have to hope for the sake of the figure that what a lot of people are saying is right, and he's mistransformed. Still, these seem to focus way more on quality bot modes then the star wars line and in general that's why I think these are looking better by far. (That makes sense since star wars is about the vehicles more and Marvel is about the characters more)
airfox:
I was already on board for Hulk and Iron Man, but I'm undecided about Venom and Spider-man.
Venom has a great looking alt mode, but so far the bot mode isn't doing it for me. I suppose some mistransformation is in place, so I'll wait for better pics.
Spider-man has other "problems" for me: (1) Arcee worked better with that transformation scheme; (2) the black repaint should be better than the blue and red one; (3) I dislike the arms. For this one I think I'll wait to see it in person. Quote:
