Redecos, Assemble!

While the spirit of Marvel Crossovers has apparently carried on into Top Spin and Twin Twist-style toys in The Avengers line-up, it appears the bigger toys aren't quite dead yet. Thanks to three eBay listings, we now know the line will be returning (at least momentarily) as the Transformers: Mech Machines subline for The Avengers toyline. It is unknown what the distribution, release date, or price for these new releases at this time.

Hasbro Toy Shop have updated with new images and other information on the 2012 Star Wars Crossovers series. These first assortments bring in new Class I releases Anakin Skywalker / Jedi Starfighter (Episode 2), Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter (Episode 3) and Anakin Skywalker / Y-Wing. Class II gets a trio of repacks with new packaging and updated bios Darth Maul / Sith Infiltrator, Darth Vader / TIE Advanced X1 and Battle Droid / AAT. Class III continues with the previously released Darth Vader / Anakin Skywalker Quad Changer.

Our sponsors Big Bad Toy Store have updated their inventory with some new Star Wars Crossovers! The line is continuing on in 2012 with new additions to the basic sized "Class I", and repacks of earlier toys in "Class II" (much earlier in the case of Darth Maul, who was originally released waaaay back as a part of the original second assortment). The Anakin / Darth Vadar remains in Class III. The full listings are as follows:

I sense a disturbance in the Force...

That's right, the Class III Star Wars Transformers Darth Vader has hit US retail. This $40 giant toy has four modes - Anakin Skywalker, who turns into a Republic Attack Cruiser. But Anakin falls to the Dark Side, and the toy becomes Darth Vader, who turns into an Imperial Star Destroyer. It's effectively two different toys in one!

The Force was definitely strong with ViceGripX, who found this toy at the Toys R Us in Tacoma, WA.

Hasbro have updated their online product catalog with some new Star Wars Crossovers. The Star Wars Transformers are still happening - what we've got here are the first reveal and images of two new Class 1 "Basic" Star Wars Crossovers, Darth Vader / Jedi Starfighter and Saesee Tiin / Jedi Starfighter. They are remolds of the earlier Anakin and Obi-Wan figures respectively, with new heads.

Also on this catalog update are official images of the Class 2 "Deluxe" figures Clone Commander Wolffe, Clone Captain Keeli and Battle Droid Commander.

Update: 2005 Boards member netkid informs us these are all available at retail now as well! Yay!

Multi-changing transformers are often times very popular with fans, and Hasbro is offering a quadruple changer from the character transformation of Anakin Skywalker to Darth Vader in the Star Wars Transformers Crossovers line! Each character sports an alt mode spaceship from their allegiance, with Skywalker's Jet Mech and Darth Vader's Star Destroyer.

2005 Board Member Sharktibolt has found the newest wave of Star Wars Transformers Crossover figures at this local Target in New Hampshire. This newest wave features a Battle Droid Commander and Clone Commander Wolffe who transformm into an AAT and a Troop Transport respectively.

The gigantic Star Wars Transformer switches between Anakin and Darth Vader modes, with a Republic Attack Cruiser and a Star Destroyer for their respective alternate modes. 2005 boards members wreckage and D-Drive have found 2 new repaints of Iron Man Transformers at a Zellers store in Canada. These are part of the Transformers Crossovers subline of the Iron Man Armored Avenger line. The figures include:

• Flying Wing Iron Man repainted in Iron Man Silver Centurion colors with glow in the dark paint apps
• Iron Man Car repainted as War Machine

The very first quad changer in the Star Wars Transformers line will be shown at Toy Fair next month! Rebelscum has posted a scan from ToyNews Magazine, shedding light on the Star Wars Transformers Class III:
