Four more guests have been announced for Botcon 2009: Bryce Malek, David Wise, Flint Dille and Paul Davids. These influential writers helped lay the groundwork for the Transformers Generation One cartoon series. They will all appear on Sunday, May 31st for a G1 writers panel.

Cullen and Welker will be doing their only panel/autograph sessions at the same time as Weird Al's autograph session on Saturday. This will coinside with Hasbro giving away unreleased MISB G1 Bruticus and Abominus giftsets in the dealers room.
…I would pity the poor janitors if such a thing happened.

Saw these guys at Botcon 2004. They were really pretty awesome and a fun panel to watch. I would very much suggest seeing them.

Still hoping for Cullen and/or Welker, but it's good to see the guest list starting to fill out.

Is there anyone involved in Transformers that WON'T be at BotCon? It seems like there's a new announcement about guests every couple days.
Golden Age

Hmm, I was kinda hoping for Floro Dery.

Any amount of money I've spent for this trip is absolutely worth it to meet Weird Al, Stan Bush, Vince DiCola, David Wise, Flint Dille, David Kaye, Gregg Berger, Michael M. (can't spell his last name — my apologies), and any other unannounced guests that will be attending.
I still think Michael Bay and Frank Welker are the two wild card guests, while Peter Cullen has done two BCs in the last three years so I doubt he will attend.

This is great! I have some questions about writing I'd love to ask them!

I really enjoyed the panel with these guys in 2004. It's definitely worth attending. They are a fun group of guys and have a great sense of humor–especially Dille and Wise.
(PS Yes, Flint from G.I. Joe was named in honor of Flint Dille.)

I remember when these guys were at Botcon 2004. I remember David Wise telling the fans about an episode of Batman the animated series that he wrote, that they wouldn't make because it was too dark… and it was a freaking awesome story.

Nice! Day in day out, I wish I was going
