received mine today with some damage to the roof here…so annoying.
all the way from US to Malaysia.
triKlops
Just got mine in with a few rub marks on the spikes; not horrible but could have been a lot better.
Lumpy
maybe. i sure hope it doesn't happen again though. the two that have had it the worst are the figures that have sharp, semi pokey edges so i doubt the final 3 will have much paint wear, but then again, who knows.
well, they COULD probably pay someone to sit down and go through every single box, but i doubt they will.
yeah, that's definitely a possibility, if these were boxed overseas, then there's no way to fix this on their end, at least this time.
Thundershot
Especially since the damage has probably already been done on the trip TO the US…

It's been said many times in this thread already, that all 6 figures are already boxed, sealed, and sitting in a warehouse waiting to ship. I seriously doubt they have the staff to open, insert padding, repack and seal thousands of figures.
Thundershot
They are aware of it. All 6 figures were already packed. The manpower required to go through thousands of figures is beyond a small company's capabilities.
They'll make sure it doesn't happen with 2.0.

I received my 2 in the mail. As expected, a part was loose (engine) and the top was scratched to to TCC's poor packaging. They should cover the top of the toy with plastic or at least put it upside down so the roof does not scratch the top of the toy. I thought they learned from scourge's scratched smokestacks. I will complain to them this time.
Matty
I saw this as well.
In all honesty, TFCC has PLENTY of time to do something for the customers because of this. Let's be real, the issues with TFSS 1.0 aren't that bad, they're annoying.
However, throw us a small bone and I know I'll be happy. Hell, maybe the free scout figure is there way of saying "our bad."
puma
From the club. All of this years figures are already boxed and ready to go. So the next 3 may have the same "problems". TFSS 2.0 will hopefully not have any issues since so many people have complained. I've been lucky with all of my figures so far having no damage. I'm pretty happy. I don't think Breakdown and Jackpot will have issues though since they have a low profile like Slipstream. Ultra Mammoth might have issues with its tusk if it gets set on its side. so we'll see i guess.
"@diecast2 all 6 were pre-packed and skidded at the same time. Working with company to make sure this doesn't happen with 2.0. Apologies."

good call on energon quickstrike, that would be perfect.

^^This^^
If everyone had this attitude, so much of the bickering in these forums would disappear…
Thundershot
Yeah that was twitted after I posted that…
He's still going with my Classics.
Lumpy
Club tweeted out earlier about this, saying "And for those who didn't know his continuity, we dropped hints as early as Issue 48" which was the issue with Circuit standing in a car dealership, with the slogan Uncle Bobby B approved. So it looks like he's officially movieverse… that said, he's still going in my Classics display, since I feel he fits better there, and i don't care what official universe he's from, i care about the single universe i have, known as my toy room…
G1Jetfire
Holes in the box top from the roof spikes with mine as well.
warriorpriest
because they sell the product. It would be no different then buying a pair of shoes from Nike and they fall apart on the way to you in the mail.
Gryph
How exactly are they responsible for this? They did not pack them.
Edit: Just got mine. Same problem as everyone else, but it's not even noticeable. So I don't really care.
Autobot City Comics 2008
Got mine same problem as everyone else
warriorpriest
So basically those of us that got insurance paid for nothing????? So they have no plans once again to fix a mistake they should be responsible for.
This is such BS!

The Club likes to do this thing with the dimensionally-displaced TransTech guys of not explicitly stating continuities but giving you enough to figure it out yourself.
For instance, this bio they did for the G2 Hero Optimus Prime toy contains just enough information for you to work out that this specific Optimus is from the timeline of an obscure Japanese G2 comic special.
I'm pretty sure the club's intention is that this guy is movie Circuit, or else they wouldn't have put a bunch of stuff in his bio pointing to a specific movie timeline.
Obviously, though, you're free to repurpose him as whichever Circuit you like. He's certainly a bit, uh, colourful compared most other movie toys…
Thundershot
There's nothing in the bio that "officially" makes him a movie character, there's nothing saying he isn't, either. There are a ton of G1 continuities out there, so this could be one of them that has some movie influence. I think they make him purposefully ambiguous so you can make what you will of him. Maybe Pete will chime in… Many people, like myself, would prefer him to be an "official" Classics Circuit, especially since it's a G1 character that we're likely to never see again.
But hey, even the club repurposes their toys.
