Transformers Collectors Club Magazine Issue #48 Cover

The Transformers Collectors Club has posted the cover art to the TFCC magazine issue 48. The cover for 48 features Circuit, the one-time Generation 1 Action Master and now a member of the Collector's Club Subscription Service lineup. Also in this issue of the TFCC Magazine is the reveal of the Botcon 2013 set theme and an interview with Clint Chapman from the Transformers brand team regarding the next chapter of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters!

I honestly doubt that would happen in the magazine, considering how long it takes some people to get their copies. more likely they'll announce something on twitter instead, then it'll hit the fan sites, which is where most people will find out. I'm personally hoping for Denver as a location, as that'd be close enough to do easily, but we'll see what happens.

I'm curious to find out the theme for this year, i hope there're some fun toys.

I really don't think the Lockdown mold works as an Autobot at all and no pictures so far have convinced me otherwise, including this artwork...

Hey guys, I know this is HE TELL ME and everything, but I got a pretty reliable source on this year's theme.

I heard it's SG McDonald's Beast Machines. Inverse colors of McD Beast Machine toys. The comic is them coming to our world, and they're all talking about how great McD food is in the real universe. The last page is coupons for BOGO McD food.

I really want to see the sneak peek into Beast Hunters.

I'd like to see the Botcon figures too (although I could never get my hands on them). I bet they are more Generations Figure repaints or TFP repaints of old/SG characters.

If I need to wait until my Magazine arrives I'll only know in a month or two!

I usually get my mag pretty early, I'm not terribly far from FP headquarters. Nothing yet.

They announced at last year's BC that this set would be in the Wings Universe.

Pretty sure it won't be G2 as most of those characters have already appeared in their comics either as their new toys or in their original G2 bodies.

I'm kinda confounded as to what the theme could be: Pre-BW or Japanese/European exclusives would be my best guesses.

Because the club likes having cohesive fiction. Having a mix of molds means some kind of crossover or two stories because the aesthetics aren't even remotely similar.
