That is Jhiaxus and Sizzle from the Wings Universe... The Allspark Animated content is Derrick and teams take on Shattered Glass with a Diary page from Shattered Glass Sari. Cool stuff... So glad Animatdd lives on.

I signed up again in feb. Shouldn't I have gotten the last issue? Because I haven't gotten any yet this year.

Ouch! This is totally not fair game! If the club wants the whole magazine available for free it would be. They did that with some numbers of the magazine, usually not the last one released.

If you want a teaser you can see here and here (those images are re-tweeted by DJW, so I hope it's ok to post here). Now I need to wait until my magazine arrive and I can see the full page...

One thing that Club could do is to make available the magazine as a PDF to members. I like to have my magazine in dead-trees format... but I didn't like to wait more than a month to see what all people are talking about

Sadly, going off the comic, rather than using the opportunity to make a new Jhiaxus, they seem to be using the previously released Universe deco.

This was asked at the TFCC comic panel.

They wanted to avoid "signaling" that there was a Jhiaxus figure in the works, while keeping to their editorial philosophy of telling stories using existing toys.

As for why there's no plans for a new Jhiaxus, who knows, it's just not on their table right now.

That's a fair answer - glad someone asked that.

Pity we aren't getting a Jhiaxus update though. But that Depth Charge from Terradive fills the "do something with this mold" gap nicely.

You mean how we saw Over-Run from the Energon Bulkhead mold and still don't have a toy? Or let's not forget Hellbat, Gaihawk, and Hooligan! I would love to own toys of all of these...

@Thundershot: Yeah, they probably see "teases" like that as a mistake they'd like to avoid in future. I also think the TC/Galvatron two-pack was an effort to cram in characters that they had already "teased."

I think that Depth Charge fig is super neat. I THINK that it has a Maximal logo? I would have actually preferred making the character older so he could have been an Autobot before. I don't have any Dawn of Future's Past stuff so...may not keep the character around forever.

Should I be worried?

Finally got around to reading this issue... The Shattered Glass Animated in the Allspark Almanac was awesome... Is this a long set up for a 2013 Botcon set?

I thought the issue was pretty cool for the whole 16 pages of a "magazine" it is. The features are nice. I just wished there were more of them.

Still no issue... when it the date that if we don't have it by we should ask the club?

Got it a few days ago, ended up in the trash about 30 seconds after opening it. UM pic was the only thing that caught my eye.

Do people buy these? May as well try to make a buck or two rather than create more trash.

i'd also like a PDF version, i wish we had the option to just have it emailed to us. I know you can create PDFs with a password protection on it, and each member could have a 4 digit number that they could use to open it... granted, that could still be passed around to others, but it'd be a nice option still...

ooh, i didn't even think that he may have an Autobot or Maximal symbol... from the crappy photo i took, it looks like he has a red symbol on him, but can't tell what it actually is. guess we'll have to wait and see...

Got mine yesterday. Pretty meh. Only thing in the entire magazine that was relevant to my interests was the SG Animated stuff.

Okay, I got my copy in the mail today. Here is a synopsis for those who care. Warning, I give away all...








Cover: G1 Optimus faces off with Megatron over a hall of fame award.
2. Brian talks about botcon and a web site security.
3. Q&A with Hasbro. Talks about the FOC Bruticus combiner and shows a picture of TFPrime Commander Ultra Magnus in both modes.
4-5. Transformers the ride in 3D article
6. A Flash Forward part 2. Set in Autobot city we see some of the Autobots who were exposed to Forstonite display powers (Inferno can make fire, Beachcomber can make plants grow). There are statues to the dead Wheeljack, Huffer, Red Alert and Windcharger. Ultra Magnus arrives.
7. Cliffjumper has the new Autobots test their powers on targets.
8. Firecracker shoots pyrotechnics from his hands. Electro shoots lightning bolts from his sword. Manta Ray shoots energy circles from his rotor. Aquafend shoots cold so low it can crack Cybertronian armor. Windbreaker breaks stuff with wind from his hand.
9, Road Rocket seems to teleport like Nightcrawler. Magnus reports to Spark, Rapido and Sizzle that someone stole materials from Quantum Laboratories. He tasks them to find the culprit.
10. Sizzle uses his ability to send his consciousness to the future to find out where the thieves will be, and says they need a spaceship. ON Cybertron the Firecons have been sent to Jhaixus by Clench. Skybyte is there and has given Jhaixus the Forestonite container.
11. The Battlechargers are fumbling around looking for personality components for their boss and come across a stasis pod, where they uncover... Wings of Honor Side Burn.
12. Bio for G2 Sizzle. I notice they are using toy pics for the alternate mode now. I guess they did last issue too.
13. Bio for RiD Jhaixus. He was built by Alpha Trion to protect and unite Cybertron while Prime's group was asleep on Earth. He was banished. Shockwave erased all records of Jhaixus from the records of Cybertron.
14. Animated bios for SG Sumdacs, SG Bumblebee (coward, white color) and SG Optimus Prime (amoral, purple with beard).
15. A letter from SG Sari to SG Iaasc.
16. Transformers ID (trivia), Recordicons (SG Ratbat meets G1 Rumble and Frenzy). Answers to last issues Transformers ID.
