The Transformers Collector’s Club have unveiled their 2011 membership incentive figure – Side Burn! Side Burn originates in Transformers Robots in Disguise, the series that brought car robot Transformers back to the mainstream after the Beast Era. Side Burn here is beautifully realized as a redeco of Classics Rodimus, the red sports car repainted into the robot obsessed with red sports cars! Check out the full images by visiting the Transformers Collector’s Club homepage.
Want to add Side Burn to your collection, either as a member of your classic character homages collection or because you’re a huge fan of Robots in Disguise? The good news is he’s free when you sign up or renew your membership of the Transformers Collector’s Club, which also includes six free magazines a year, and a discount for Botcon, plus lots of other goodies. Head on over to the Transformers Collector’s Club homepage to find out more on what you get and how to sign up.

Boo!! I want those so flippin bad!! The animated line is the only collection I have that's short a few figures! I just ordered hydro bumble bee and still waiting on blackout!! He is taking forever. I only need roadbuster ultra magnus and the 2 pack optimus vs megatron set…. Grr lol and now they had to go and make probably the most badass set of stunticons ever IMO

The Collector's Club only sells BotCon stuff if it's not already sold out by the end of the convention. Given that we were told that the Stunticons were 50% sold out after the first day of preregistration, I wouldn't count on any left available by then.
cougarcat13t
does the collectors club usually sell the botcon stuff?? cuz if I dont get that stunticons sets I will burn…. something!!!!

Thursday night would be a big no no and maybe the first hour or two each day but for the most part the lines aren't crazy.
I have gotten peeps to bring stuff along for me, but as most people fly or have long road trips theres a limit to how much of their space I want to take up. For instance I'd have grabbed TFCC Astrotrain during one of the sales but as mentioned even the US shipping is pricey and the box would take up a lot of suitcase room.
I fully admit to not knowing their system, but not being able to create a ship to Botcon option is disappointing but considering how difficult everything tech related seems for FP not surprising.
Its always looked to me that they bring everything to Botcon, its probably the time they move on most of their stock.
TENIME_art
Depends on how much they're bringing to the con.
Packing up just stuff for me for C2E2 this weekend has been insane. I'm gonna be overloaded, and I'm not bringing anything to sell at or help run the con (I don't know their involvement in Botcon, so please excuse any errors I might have made assuming they're responsibilities at the show).
It might be too much, or they might have problems keeping everything straight.
I'm with you, I'd rather save money & pick something up from someplace I'm already going to be, but they might have legit reasons for not wanting to.

As I recall, it's about how they manage their shipping lists. The work required to mark individuals off of the list (which is normally just a "send all" kind of a deal) is apparently not negligible.
I'm certainly with you in wishing for this, because even for those of us in the states, shipping is pretty ridiculous. But I'm not at all confident that this is a fight we can win.

Well They do get pretty damn busy at the toy pick up booth, so having crates of club toys and having to confirm those orders as well would really slow things down. Maybe if you're going to botcon you could ship the toys to an american on the boards you know and have him/her bring up the toys?
Bogatan
I'd be so happy if they would allow preorders to be picked up at Botcon or any club store purchases, but when I asked I was told it was infeasible which I read as too much effort for them to want to do it, though I don't see how hard it would be instead of posting an item putting it in a crate/box to bring to Botcon.

I really hope they let me pay for cheetor/ G2 Ramjet and ship them with my Non-atendee botcon set, so I can save a bit on shipping at least :/. Lets just hope Canada customs doesnt decide to charge me ontop of everything like they do with Bigbad orders :/
Bogatan
Ditto Britain and the rest of the world already seems more people I know have joined now that the inclusive figure seems worth it and the price works out just under £50.
Shipping is a joke, but that isn't anything new.
Edit: Club boards list 3475 members but that's not much of a guide as it includes expired members and only those who register for the forums I think.
Bogatan
That combined with people registering or renewing for Botcon and it wouldn't surprise me.
