For the grand finale of our three part Botcon 2012 Toy Galleries update, we are heading to the Classicsverse! Transformers Invasion, the 2012 Boxed set, was a story about how the Shattered Glass Universe and the Classics Universe clashed in a rather spectacular fashion, and so, we bring you now galleries of those toys exclusively available at Botcon 2012 representing the new additions to the Classics universe! Open the links below to check out galleries of Metalhawk, Kick-Over (aka Kickoff), Spinister and Gigatron the Decepticon Overlord (also known as "the monster in the basement"):

Gigatron, the Decepticon Overlord of Destruction
Classics Spinister
Classics Metalhawk
Classics Kick-Over

As a final extra to wrap up these galleries, we've also added pictures of the box that the six figure boxed set came in, the first day "Cold Slither" pin and a selection of group shots. Check them out at the link below:

I wish I had any of those! But man that optimus is burning a hole in my pocket

Sweet galleries!

I don't see what so great about recolored remolds. Shattered Glass is just another way for hasbro to squeeze out every last penny from a mold. Save your money for Masterpiece Soundwave.
Sol Fury
Well, they're convention exclusives made by Fun Publications rather than Hasbro directly, so it's them who make Shattered Glass rather than Hasbro proper. I think some are cool (others not so much) but I accept your view. Not for everyone.
G1Jetfire
Happy to have all of these (except Longarm/Shockwave). The SG junkions are my favorites. Waiting for Maiden Japan to reveal his Junkion add-on-parts for them.
Stepper
The colour for Shattered Glass Optimus Prime Mark 2 sure suit the G2 mold of Optimus Prime

why the 2 verisons of SG optimus ?

I think it is a case of the 2008 Shattered Glass set being particularly sought after so the second version was made to provide a chance for people who missed out on the original to own a version of the character.

Okay, let's bring on the bad guys who are actually good guys!

Botcon 2012 Heroic Decepticons Group Shot

Shattered Glass Soundwave
Headband Accessory for Shattered Glass Soundwave
Shattered Glass Treadshot
Shattered Glass Octopunch
Shattered Glass The Bard of Darkmount
Prowl 2009
Man, the 2012 boxset was awesome! I really wished I hadn't lost my job recently, would've loved to have picked it up. Back to work again, but don't have the kind of $$$ for the set.
SG Roadbuster
Botcon 2012 was my first and possibly only botcon. I'm happy to have the set as a memento of the occasion. I really wish I could have gotten in on the custom class to build my own classics alternator shockblast.
G1Jetfire
I want Music Label Soundwave. But out of the SG Decepticon Group, I like Treadshot the most. Kick-Over is beautiest.
MWG
To be honest, the only figures from this set I have any interest at all in would be Kick-Off-Over and Spinister, and the Asia/TRU exclusive versions of those molds (Wheelie & Springer) are at or above their level as far as my wants would go. Same goes for the (maybe happening) Walmart Combat Hero Prime over either Botcon counterpart.

OTOH, Shattered Glass is good for the club and it is their own universe to play with. Most of the toys are nicely done, but just not really interesting to me.

In any case, I want SG Prime MK 2 so bad after seeing these excellent pics..
Kung Fu Man
To be honest I'm still surprised they didn't give a SG Ironhide instead of Optimus Mk. 2, given that they were already using the mold, but I digress. Got Soundwave, Treadshot and Darkmount, and Magnus out of this set and happy with the majority of them.

Bit of a head's up for those planning on using Battle Tanker with Magnus: the clips chip the red paint on his arms sadly.

I'm glad he of all the SG releaes this time around came with Kick Off / Kick-Over, and that I got one early on at a cheap price. Not that I'm showing off; at hte price I got, I'd almost kick myself for not doubling up!

Now I've gone back and started looking at colecting some Binaltech figures, having SG Soundwave as a 4WD/van makes me wonder again howEvil Decepticon Soundwave would have looked as a retool of BT Scion Skids. Then again, perhaps there's a custom of that out there somewhere; the base colour isn't that far off, after all.

I'd love a Spinister and Kick Off.
