TFcon Begins Today 27 July 2012!

As many of you are undoubtedly aware, TFcon 2012 is kicking off today in Mississauga, Ontario! Canada's Transformers convention runs from today until Sunday 29 July 2012! If you are in the area or if like 2005 Podcaster Aaron you have made the trek up to Canada to attend here are some of the things that you have to look forward to:

Meet guests and Transformers legends Bob Budiansky, Scott McNeil, Neil Ross, Wally Burr, Jim Sorenson and Derrick Wyatt!

Take part in the TFcon Art, Custom and Costume contest!

Attend many great panels including tonight at 8:30 the fan made media panel with Chris Ho (Vangelus) and Benjamin Dolle (Peaugh), the Transformers Legacy with Jim Sorenson, Creating comic books with Bob Budiansky, How to get into Voice Acting with Scott McNeil, Neil Ross and Wally Burr and Development of TV series with Derrick Wyatt!

Challenge your wits and trivia knowledge in the TFcon Trivia Contest and Faction Feud (go Femmebots!)

Attend the always entertaining TFcon Live Script Reading on Saturday at 6pm! Check out the preview comic here!

Pick up some exclusive toys as a souvenir of your weekend including the TFcon exclusive Shafter and Garrison!

Check out what is coming soon from the third party unofficial toy makers at the third party product preview panel!

For those of you who are 19 years or older, check out the Message Board meetup from 11pm tonight and the official TFcon 2012 After Party from 10pm on Saturday, both in the Quest Bar!

Last but by no means least, take part in a LIVE recording of our WTF @ TFW Podcast in Hazel McCallion ABCD from 5pm on Sunday!

Exclusives aren't usually announced until MUCH closer to the convention. I'll bet they're only in the preliminary stages of figuring that out for next year.

That's great that it can be announced so early. It really gives us fans the opportunity to plan and save up for it. Great job TFcon.

I love the fact that I only live about 10 mins from this CON, and I love that It doesn't jump cities like Botcon. I'll see everyone again next year, can't wait.

By my count 2011 was the 10th annual or consecutive TFcon. 2012 will be the 10th anniversary.

Yup, I know that much. I was being a stooge. The exclusives are the only real thing I get to do related to TFCon since I usually go to BotCon and I am afraid of Canadians with their lack of decisiveness about accents.

They probably will accept it, but you'd be better off getting a stack of Canadian playmoney beforehand, as it will make things more convenient for you not only in the dealer room (and save you waiting at the atm), but everywhere else in Canadia.

So of the public transportation ways listed on tfcons site. Coming from the Toronto airport, how much will they cost, how long will they take, which is the least hassle/most comfortable?
