TFcon 2013 dates announced: July 26 – 28th, 2013

Well since botcon sucks now and hasbro leaves all the big TF reveals for SDCC anyways, I may try to go to tfcon next year. Plus I never visited canada.

I am curious, is it the large 3P presence that makes this Con so attractive?

Personally, the 3P panel this year had more news than all other cons put together.

Maybe next year I might actually attend.....who knows?

I am gonna do all I can to attend next year as well. I came up this year and it was the best TF convention I have been to.

WOW TFCon being comparied to all the big boys liek BOTCON. I'm glad I supported this Con since year one. The way I see it, as long as the 3P trend continues to grow, this con will continue to grow.

Botcon is limited to Hasbro and that it, and we all know how grand Hasbro has been recently. So ya, I see it.

I look forward to talking to the FP guys again next year.

The weekend TFCon 2013 is on marks 10 years since I attended my first Transformers convention, OTFCC 2003 in Chicago. And after hearing all the fun that was had this year, I am going to be trying my hardest to attend next year. Not been in Canada since 2001. Time I went back.

Plus, having a year to plan makes it far easier.

i'm gonna give it my best effort to make it to this one!

I didn't care about anything third-party before TFcon, and although I do now, wanting to go in 2013 has 0% to do with reveals from third-parties or Hasbro and 100% to do with the people and the experience. Going to TFcon or Botcon solely for the toys is the wrong reason to go at all.

I think this is going to be my first ever toy convention. Sounds too good to pass up. Might fly, or take a long road trip from DC.

I've been doing it wrong for 10 years. LOL

I use to go to cons to do one walk around, do another to buy what I want and then leave.

This year I went and mingled and went to panels and had a much better experience.(I also bought)

Next year I may dive in and make it a whole weekend thing and join local board members and our American friends in some TFW after hours fun.

It is a 11 hour drive from my house. I think I may be going this year.

And booked! I had to skip out on staying at the hotel this year. Don't want to do that again if I don't have to. Great hotel for the family and for the con.

Where can I find the TFCon 2013 info? I can't find any 2013 info on their website.

Being Highlands of New York State you guys are about 4 hours from my house. I am thinking that this may be the Con I go to this year. Even as Much as I love going to Botcon.
