TFcon 2012 Art, Custom and Costume Contest Info

2012 sees the return of the TFcon art and customs contest. Entries may be submitted from 9 am until 12 pm the Saturday of the convention. After 12 pm all art pieces will be judged by the TFcon Art Judges. The winner will be announced at a time on the event schedule. This year there will be 3 categories for the art contest attendees are welcome to enter, 2D, 3D, and costume. All entries are to be PG-13. Pieces previously entered cannot be entered again. No collaborative entries, the piece has to be 100% your own creation. Limit of two entries per person. For more details check out the TFcon website.

Registration is now online for this summers largest Transformers Collectors Convention. You can register for TFcon 2012 now by clicking here and reserve the TFcon 2012 exclusive figure SHAFTER.

TFcon 2012 features Canada's largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise, question and answer panels and autograph sessions with many special guests including Transformers voice actor Scott McNeil and Hasbro Canada with more to be announced.

TFcon - Canada's 11th Annual Transformers Collectors Convention is July 27th to 29th, 2012 at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The TFcon 2012 hotel block is now available.

I went last year for the first time and it was by far my favorite con I have ever been to.

What does registering in advance do more then going the day of the con? I've gone to TFCon for the past few years and have never had an issue of getting the exclusive that day.

I registered in advance to get into the custom class. That usually sells out the first day.

i'm going to try to wear all ript tf shirts, hopefully be a little more stand out than the regular ones

Pre-reg done! I'll probably just show up Friday night for the zza party and then do Saturday. Very excited for the chance to see a couple of my Botcon buddies a second time for the year.

I think since the exclusive figure is a repaint of a 3rd party figure, they should be fine. It'd be weird otherwise.
