Looks good. So much stuff coming out, however.

I just pick and choose... and there am able to thankfully control the amount spent. For Example, in the next couple of months, I have already paid for-in full or pre-ordered some stuff. Only getting MP-13 Soundwave and Red Alert, and a couple of Takara exclusive Arms Micron moulds and recolors like Unicron, Silias-down and Nemesis Prime.

Would have been on board if it hadn't been clear.

Only one question about Solar, evil Autobot or heroic Decepticon? Looking forward to this set from the Transformers Club.

He's not from SG but G1. I don't know if he belongs to any particular faction but I imagine he's heroice.

It's more or less what I expected. Looks nice but I can't help but think it looks like a KO to a degree due to having seen a number of translucent cassettebot KOs over the years.

This is however, the part of the set I want the most. The robots are cool, but I don't need a third SW/BL, and the SG cassettes are nice if a little bland.

However, if they end up releasing more pack of SG cassettes on their own, I will have to come back for these. If I hadn't had my hours cut recently, I would throw down a preorder without a thought, now I'm constantly worried about every purchase.

While I couldn't care less for the rest of these bizarre SG repaints, Solarbot here looks alright...

What's VSE stand for anyway?

Nothing in particular, but the VS sets in G1 were called VS(followed by a letter). So Skids, Sunstreaker, and Buzzsaw was VSZ, Grimlock VS Soundwave & Frenzy was VSY, VSX was Optimus VS Megatron. So this follows in that pattern but uses E (not sure why).

It's a reference to Takara's G1 VS (versus) sets. The 'E' is for ehobby.

Which is why I want him so much. Two of my favorite things are (unreleased) G2 and cassettes. Comebine them and I'm almost willing to buy the set just for Solarbot.

ugh this the the encores with those cassettes...guess i just drew my line in the sand...

man, i really like how he looks... now i want him and Blaster, but still not enough for a whole set... just too many other things going on right now, unless i happen to sell and extra grand worth of toys in the next few weeks...

Was expecting a Rumble Frenzy mold. Translucent pile drivers would look cool on this guy. Since he's not SG and intended to be heroic, the Eject/Rewind mold makes sense. Wouldn't be surprised to see a BTS version of this figure. Wonder if Maiden Japan would do new head sculpts for SG Soundwave and SG Blaster.

That's hot. The mold is not great, but I dig clear plastic on G1 mold...

Still will never get this. I like the reissue blaster with the tweaked colors on the cat tapes. Will get that instead...
