Could be legit. I find it interesting that this person only recently joined (on the surface, for the sole purpose of posting this). Also that his grammar is somewhat terrible and that he has Convoy as his favorite on his profile.
So it is POSSIBLE that he is from Asia and has a connection at the factory, but very unlikely.

I would like to point out that a classics prime in black and purple smells of a Menasor or Motormaster repaint which is totally Hasbros M.O.

Nah...not a chance in hell it's legit. Just look at Brawl and all the "inside info" regarding who is/isn't in the game. And also notice how on forums dedicated to such discussion...the vast vast majority of the people making such claims are new accounts.

One voyager and four deluxes doesn't seem too odd to me.
I know I shouldn't be expecting repaints of the movie or animated toys, but thinking of seeing classics and Cybertron exclusives at Botcon isn't all that appealing...

Last year's had 4 deluxes and 1 voyager. According to this guys CLAIM, there would be 3 deluxes and 2 voyagers.
So it's not that much of a stretch. Plus, to be fair, Classics Prime is a small voyager.
So I wouldn't say rule it out based on what he said, but I'm also not saying that you should accept what he said as truth either.

I'd have a feeling that the Black OP is gonna be Nemesis Prime, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the black Grimlock wound up being Doomlok or whatever that thing was called from Cybertron. Somehow this seems true. I have no idea why. I will say that if it IS true that it is yet another botcon set I can pass on. I really don't like the idea of paying premium prices for an exclusive collector's set, but I won't rule out the possibility of something being amazing enough for me to break down and get it.
EDIT: Oh, actually I think the only reason I think this is true is that it's really the first time I have heard about it. I think last years, the first thing I heard was someone saying it will be the Seekers, way before confirmation, and that was true. So, it just seems like the first thing you hear is what happens.

Well, according to that Botcon pic with Classics Prime in front, the OP got a few of the molds right if that pic is any indication of what the Botcon molds would be. Also, FunPub was saying how the TF world would be turned upside down this year which leads me to believe that either it’s a reversed world where Bots are bad and Cons are good (which explains some of the dark coloring of the Bots the OP described) or that some of the Bots are now bad for some reason (like Nemesis style which again also explains the darker coloring described). I have a feeling the OP is on to something.
