Here comes a great opportunity to see and meet your childhood heros because Texas Comicon just announced their celebrity quest list, and it is big!
Texans will have an opportunity to meet the two biggest Transformers legends; Peter Cullen and Frank Welker! You can take a picture with them, have their photographs and attend their Q&A panel. You can check out the details right here.
The convention will be held in San Antonio Shrine Auditorium on August 7, 8 & 9.

G1 toy boxes, or buy some animation stills off eBay and have them sign those. Masterpiece boxes would also work, but you will want a colored marker of course.
Psychoshi
Peter and Frank are best known as Optimus and Megatron. So obviously you could have them sign their toy boxes. (either generation 1, or TF Prime figures)

what to sign
I'm going, but I have no idea what to have them sign. Any suggestions?

Aww.
Nice.
But seriously how the hell did this convention get the voice god himself?

Meh,
With the outrageous expense, save money. There is always TF-Expo in Wichita, KS. Big announcements coming soon

I'm thinking the VIP fees they're charging have a lot to do with it. While I'm sure many TF conventions would love to have them, I'd bet they'd be concerned with attendee reaction if they tried to charge similar amounts in addition to standard registration costs (which they'd probably have to do to recoup the money spent on appearance fees). :/ Plus I'm sure many would end up frustrated by the limited number of autograph slots available–they would sell out more quickly than the Botcon customs class.

Last year the line up of G1 voice actors at Texas Comicon was astounding and this year they pull Peter Cullen and Frank Welker! How the hell does this convention just stomp Botcon or TFcon on Transformers celebrity guests?
Kickback
Indeed. However, this convention gets the title of being the most poorly run convention out of any of the "Comic Cons" … their goal is to get your money and get you in the door. After that, good luck.

Isn't Savage from Texas, too?
Kickback
I can hear Brian Savage saying two things:
"Are you F$#&ing serious!?"
and
"Who is Frank Welker?"

It's definitely worth it. I went last year. Had a terrible time besides meeting Peter. It's so poorly run it's ridiculous. I even got banned from their facebook page because I had to get a lawyer to file fraud charges against the guy that runs it because he wasn't going to give COAs which was part of the package. They're not included this year. Besides meeting Frank and Peter it's not a good show. Meeting those two is worth it though. I'm flying down from Buffalo to do it again. I cried like a little girl when I met Peter. He gave me a hug and told me a reaction like that makes it worth it to him. I'm sure I'll ball my eyes out again. If you can afford it you won't regret it.

If I was going, I would bring a carded Rock Lords Sticks n Stones.
It was the two headed guy, and Welker played one head, and Cullen the other.
Stratolily
Same here!!! I wish I could go, but I'm too faraway

I have put a lot of thought into this:
I live out in Iowa, and I was going to try and see Peter Cullen last year, but ran into money troubles and my hotel expenses.
Would it be worth it to give the money to, fly down to Texas, get a hotel, meet Frank and Peter, or say screw it?
I really do want to see these two amazing people, but not sure if it's worth it.

Seeing the two of them side by side in person at a panel would be awesome.
Someone should challenge them to switch roles.
We've seen Peter can do an AWESOME Megatron, but can Frank do a decent Optimus Prime? (and what do they think of each other's take on their characters voice?)
If I wasn't on the other side of the planet I would be there for sure. Worth every penny for the rare chance to meet these two.
TFW10
that's true, seeing them in person, is a possible once in a life time experience
