TCC 2015 Exclusive Marissa Faireborn with Afterburner Toy Reveal

Posted on 08-15-2014 at 09:48 AM by StayingInTheBox under Conventions
1463934_759233340802313_2967393103125218293_n The Transformer's Collector's Club announced yesterday their second store exclusive figure to be Marissa Faireborn with Afterburner. As expected we have our first look at the actual toy representation of this character posted just now to the TCC's Facebook page.

From the TCC: The first "mock up" reveal of the TCC exclusive MARISSA FAIREBORN and AFTERBURNER vehicle! Join the Club so you will be able to pre-order when available. The final version will vary.

From what we can tell so far, this exclusive appears to come from the following GI Joe molds: the non-transforming Afterburner vehicle is the Wheel Blaster Bike from Firefly in the Retaliation movie line. The torso looks to be a combination of Resolute Scarlet while the head and legs is GIJCC Cover Girl/DTC Cover Girl. We'll update accordingly once new information is passed along. Hat tip to TFW member Computron34 for the assist.

What do you think of the full reveal? Let us know after the jump!

Auto Assembly Transformers: More than Meets the Eye Elegant Chaos Details

Posted on 08-10-2014 at 07:06 PM by Mechafire under Conventions
tf_ongoing_issue_23_cover_b_by_markerguru-d42bbwo In addition to our earlier report on Auto Assembly's third party panel, we also have some new IDW comic details straight from the Transformers: More than Meets the Eye writer himself, James Roberts. TFW2005 member Mort reports on what he said - the upcoming Elegant Chaos story will be part three of the Chaos Theory/Shadowplay arc:

James confirmed at the MTMTE panel that Elegant Chaos will be part three of the Chaos Theory arc. It will feature Optimus and co; the Functionist council will play a central part. Sounded like it's going to be an all out, big 'hype' story.

You can discuss this revelation after the jump!
