BobSkir Robert N. Skir was the Story Editor and Head Writer for the Transformers TV series Beast Machines, in his words perhaps the most polarizing series in Transformers history. Bob will be speaking at TFcon Chicago and meeting with fans all weekend.

Rik Alvarez to attend TFcon Chicago 2014

rik J.E “Rik” Alvarez was formerly the Transformers Creative Manager at Hasbro, as well as a writer and editor with Fun Publications. He is now the founder of newly launched toy company Play With This Too. At TFcon Chicago they plan to unveil some big announcements about what lays in store for their company and he will also be speaking about his time on Transformers.

Transformers Movie Barricade Car to attend TFcon Chicago 2014

barricade The 2005 Mustang Saleen 2007 Extreme S281 prototype known as Barricade used in the 2007 movie Transformers will be in attendance at TFcon Chicago 2014. There were 3 cars made for the film, with this vehicle being one of the primary camera vehicles. This Barricade was used in the scene where Shia LaBeouf was struck by the drivers side door and was knocked off his bike, as well as in the warehouse chase scene where the vehicles crash through the window.

But that's not all, because Rewind is joined by the seventh bonus figure who (as those following the earlier leaks might remember) is none other than Rewind's original mold partner from Generation 1, Eject!

Transformers Subscription Service 3.0 Ordering Period Extended Till 10/6/2014

Hasbro And Rovio Attending Brand Licensing Europe Expo 2014

Brand-Licensing-Europe-2014-Hasbro-Rovio-Transformers-Angry-Birds-Robots-In-Disguise-My-Little-Pony- Hasbro is attending this year's Brand Licensing Europe Expo with Transformers Licensed Merchandise and plans to promote the brand among interested European product manufacturers. Hasbro will also act as a sponsor (Global Partner) for the 19th Brand Licensing Europe Expo.

Hasbro Brand Licensing & Publishing (Booth D020) will be showcasing their upcoming plans for the following brands:
  • My Little Pony
  • Transformers
  • Littlest Pet Shop
  • Monopoly
  • Play-Doh
  • Nerf
  • Magic: The Gathering
  • Jem

If past expos are taken into consideration, Hasbro will most likely be highlighting Transformers: Robots In Disguise; a Transformers Animated Series planned to go on air in 2015 on the newly rebranded Discovery Family.

Hasbro is not alone when it comes to Transformers. Rovio Mobile will also be participating (Booth D030) with their new Angry Birds: Transformers. Rovio will be showcasing Hasbro's Angry Birds: Transformers Telepods; interactive toys which unlocks characters on their upcoming game.

Serpent O.R. is a clever use of the Ratbat version of the Generations Scourge mold to represent the biomechanical version of G.I. Joe archvillain Serpentor, as seen in the now-classic Devil's Due Transformers & G.I. Joe Art of War miniseries.

If you feel this one has nailed the look and you're taken with the other five in next year's set - G2 Starscream, Nacelle, Carzap, Krok and Tarantulas - then you may wish to act quickly as today is the final day to order this year's Transformers Figure Subscription Service - and we're told there will not be many spares of this year's sets. Transformers Timelines #9 Now Online

Transformers Timelines #9 stars the characters of the third year of the figure subscription service, and it also wraps up the plot threads that have been left hanging at the end of the Botcon 2013 Machine Wars: Termination comic.

Transformers Collector's Club Announces Timelines #9 as a Free Exclusive Digital Comic!

The Transformers Collector's Club continues its reveals today, coming off of the earlier reveal of the TFSS 3.0 G2 Starscream. We didn't see this coming though, as the TCC announced a Collector's Club exclusive digital comic set to release tomorrow exclusively on Transformersclub.com, for free! Timelines issue #9 will be a full 22 page story taking place directly after the Timelines #8 issue (Machine Wars: Termination) spotlighting the entire lineup of the Subscription Service 3.0 characters!

The creative team of Timelines #8 will also make their return continuing their work. The interior art will be done by artist Josh Burcham, while the story is written by Jesse Wittenrich.

TCC Figure Subscription Service G2 Starscream New Image

If you need this Seeker to continue your Seeker collection, as well as the other 3.0 offerings, you have just over a week remaining to order. As a reminder the subscription ordering period is open through October 2, 2014.

Also teased by the Club was an announcement of an announcement, which based on this tweet from BotCon is related to TFSS 3.0. No further clues were given, but we should know what is to be revealed tomorrow afternoon. Is it the free figure provided for subscribing to the service? We'll find out!

SERPENTORpreview The Transformers Collector's Club updated their homepage with the fifth reveal of the TFSS 3.0. Today's reveal is the Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover Serpent O.R.!

A very interesting figure that has appeal to fans of both Transformers and G.I.
