That "Bludgeon" is just the Cybertron Deluxe Unicron figure.
Out of the Botcon figures this year this is the only one I really like.

But the colour scheme is different, and Unicron didn't have that kind of sword. (Unicron didn't have the red helmet and green shoulders, either.)

I always liked that mold, and I felt the characterization just didn't suit what seemed like a real badass of a toy.
Would have been cool if they gave you a sword accessory with him, but eh, those are easy enough to come by.
I understand that the box set is the place where they'd want to put toys that can't stand on their own as buyables, but I kinda wish they had bumped Landshark or Flakk to put this guy in the set. It probably would have made the impressions of it MUCH more positive.

I don't know what a monoshaft joint is but his head isn't on a ball joint.
If a monoshaft joint means his head can only turn left and right then yeah, one of them.

Seriously, though, there were some major winners in the Energon toy line, Mirage being one of them. Guys like basics Skyblast & Divebomb, deluxes Sharkticon, Slugslinger, and Starscream. Cliffjumper, Shockblast, Omega Supreme, Landmine, the combiners... definitely some good stuff going on there.
There were some crummy ones, too, but I hate to bash the line considering it did have some real winners.
