The Transformers Collectors Club has just tweeted out an image with in-hand samples of three of the six toys that will available through their subscription service: Robots In Disguise Scourge, Circuit and G1-colored Breakdown. Please note that these toys are early samples, and while they are indicative of the final products, there is still chance that there will be adjustments/tweaks to the various toys.
There is no word regarding the details of the Transformers Collectors Club Subscription Service, including price and time.
UPDATE: Through the TFCC’s Facebook page, we now have a shot of Breakdown’s robot mode, and a message to keep an eye on the Club’s website for the next few days for more information regarding the subscription service.
Stay tuned to TFW2005, as we bring you the latest Transformers News as it happens.

Well now I'll never be able to get any sleep after seeing THAT fun little image tonight. *shudder*

Because Scourge is more badass than Depthcharge.
seeker311
man, that is one high hope
Feralstorm
My dilemma is while none are "gotta have", four are "wouldn't mind having". (with a fifth falling in that "I might like it once I have it" category.)
Stepper
Scourge is a must get but hopefully it will be release under the UNITED series.
MagnusPrimal
Ok, that's much cheaper than I thought. I may have to reconsider this now.

It's six figures for the entire year. Looks like we'll get two in January and then probably two in March and two in May. Then it's over until next January.
motorhead9999
I forget, how many figures is the deal for? I thought it was 6 figures a year, but is it actually 12 (since they say monthly), or is it really the 6, and its just front loaded for the year.
At 282 a year, that would come out to either $47 a figure (6/yr) or 23ish (12/yr).
seeker311
if thats the true cost, that aint bad
[Wing_Saber-X]
Yes! It's in the head sculpt, I tells ya!
Okay thanks for the info, Sharp! ;D
will PM you when appropriate and when these arrive.
MagnusPrimal
Holy Crap, you're right! I knew he reminded me of some character, but I couldn't figure out who.
Sharpfinger
I guess I am not the best source for your stuff. I am in Brazil and if you buy from me you'll pay international shipping two times. Guess BBTS prices will be better. But you're welcome to PM me

IF Hasbro determines that a Black G2 Prime is a good idea at retail, they won't let the fact of an FP release stop them from doing so. I agree with you this far.
However, I would argue that the fact of an upcoming FP release says, fairly strongly, that Hasbro does not foresee that they are likely to make this determination.
The fact that things could change in the future exists. But don't hold your breath awaiting such a possibility.

I completely agree with you. Take away the year the had though and that strategy is the best for making the sub service a success. That is why they have Scourge there to make the first time they do this a success.
Problem is they have had such a crap year they should have thought a bit more, but I'm sure this idea was in the line and thought out and hell they probably had the characters picked out before the CC crap and everything else.
But yes, a little thought on PR and less on how do we sell the most subs would have gone a long way.

It's because PRID Dreadwing is coming out, and it's a better mold for Depth Charge! LOL.

I'm not worried about Jackpot not being the Classics mold. I'll just buy an extra Stepper and repaint it. (ROTFL)

That might make more sense if they weren't coming off such a low point. To me it seems they woulda been best served just retaining as many members as possible and making it as attractive as they could. As it is, it seems they're just giving people yet another excuse to walk. And I'm not even one that was overly put off with them…I had every intention of renewing. I'm just that disinterested in the offerings. Whatevs. That cash is better served going elsewhere so we'll just call it good.
Take a poll. I'm sure the results would be overwhelming as to how many would prefer Scourge. I've yet to see a single bitch that this Depthcharge fig wasn't going to be released at retail…
MagnusPrimal
I don't know, $400 is a lot for a reprinted Deluxe. Actually, about $442, since you need a membership as well. I know you get more with that than Scourge, but I'm going on the theory that Scourge is the draw.
I may still try to get Sourge and UM, but I already have several black Optimus reprints, so I may just stick with Ultra Mammoth.
Da_Razorsaw
I don't see why Scourge is more of a crowd pleaser than Depthcharge. People love BW.
and I say that as an RiD fan.
