Hasbro is attending this year’s Brand Licensing Europe Expo with Transformers Licensed Merchandise and plans to promote the brand among interested European product manufacturers. Hasbro will also act as a sponsor (Global Partner) for the 19th Brand Licensing Europe Expo.
Hasbro Brand Licensing & Publishing (Booth D020) will be showcasing their upcoming plans for the following brands:
- My Little Pony
- Transformers
- Littlest Pet Shop
- Monopoly
- Play-Doh
- Nerf
- Magic: The Gathering
- Jem
If past expos are taken into consideration, Hasbro will most likely be highlighting Transformers: Robots In Disguise; a Transformers Animated Series planned to go on air in 2015 on the newly rebranded Discovery Family.
Hasbro is not alone when it comes to Transformers. Rovio Mobile will also be participating (Booth D030) with their new Angry Birds: Transformers. Rovio will be showcasing Hasbro’s Angry Birds: Transformers Telepods; interactive toys which unlocks characters on their upcoming game.
Brand Licensing Europe 2014 is happening on 7-9 October at Olympia, London. If our members are attending the Expo, you can share the images, videos and information of Transformers Licensed Materials. You can grab more info from the Official #BLE2014 Website.

Yeah, the unwritten rule in media is "no body, no guarantee". GI Joe 3 is in development with hopeful release date in 2016. Evan Daugherty (TMNT, Snow White and the Huntsman, Divergent) is currently working on a script.
Again, though, Joe 3 is still more than a year away, so it won't be Hasbro's focus here.
Do you guys NOT get what a "Licensing Expo" is? This is NOT a collector event, and in all reality there likely won't even be toys there short some on shelf stuff as "examples of brand strength".
This is a show where European manufacturers come look at upcoming licensed material to see if they want to license a brand. As far as the the world market is concerned, Age of Extinction is "last year's" news, they want to know what's going to be on market NEXT year, which for Hasbro will be the new Robots in Disguise cartoon.

No… you kill off 90% of the cast so kids'll want to buy the next series of movie character toys no questions asked.

It'd be interesting to know but Hasbro UK know nothing about their own products. When I asked them when wave 2 of AOE was likely to come out over here they said it wasn't up to them but up to the individual stores who order the figures direct from the manufacturer (apparently nothing to do with them then!). TRU hasn't gone past wave 1 with the RID AOE figs so I wouldn't be surprised if they just give up on the current movie lines over here.

Cool. I wanna go to one of these licensing expos someday
flatline72
did they actually green light a Gi Joe 3?
I figured with the storyline of Gi Joe 2 killing 90% of the Joes off , hasbro was throwing in the towel.

Will they explain to us why we never got a Deluxe stinger with Deluxe wave 4 ?
IMO I don't really care for RID.

Ha, they liked it when the real GI Joes came there several years ago, ha.
So I wonder if this means UK people will get more products released and even have more exclusives for their countries.
Will I have to be tracking down where to buy the Loch Ness monster exclusive dinobot toy stateside?

Probably because GI Joe has never been a huge brand in Europe to begin with. Hasbro didn't even release Sigma Six over there, opting for the reworked Action Man series in the same vein. It got RoC stuff, but completely ignored international markets for Retaliation.
And unless Hasbro has a new cartoon in the works (signs point to "no"), even the US isn't likely to see much of GI Joe next year, and probably not until things get going on GI Joe 3.

No GI Joe
