Gary Chalk Attending MechaCon 2009 - Coming With Guitar Accessory garrydinnerpostersmall
It has been recently announced that Gary Chalk (voice of several past Optimi) will be joining David Kaye (voice of several past Megatron's, and Animated Optimus Prime) in attendance at this year's MechaCon in Lafayette, LA.

Gary will also be putting on a special acoustic performance for dinner attendees on Friday, July 24th at 6:00 PM. The dinner is a formal/semi-formal event and is available by reservation only. MechaCon takes place at the Hilton Lafayette, July 24th-26th.

This year's MechaCon in Lafayette, LA will be hosting both David Kaye and Gary Chalk.

Kaye was announced a little while back but Chalk was recently announced. It was also mentioned that Gary Chalk will be performing an unplugged concert for dinner attendees.

The coolest thing about Garry's guitar playing is that he plays the guitar inverted. Being a lefty, he actually learned how to play on a right-handed guitar by turning it upside-down.

It's quite the impressive sight to see. And he sounds amazing! ^.^

Well he was on the bridge of the Earth ship Korolev when it was destroyed battling the Ori at P3Y-229. Being Russia's only ship, that didn't do too well for his record. And after all the effort they put into forcing Stargate Command to give them their own ship....
