Great to see pics of Bruticus better combined! Also... dying to see some of the later Waves of Prime merch.. rather than what we've already seen in stores or better yet.. in-hand!

august for prime, jazz, and shockwave?!?! October for bruticus?!?! WTF happened to a "summer" release? And yes I know august is still TECHNICALLY summer but this is just BS. I don't care how many figures we get, I'm getting real sick of Hasbro screwing with the fans.

So I guess bruticus is going to be those fugly g2 colors after all........sigh takara dont let me down!

FOC Shockwave looks great, as does Optimus and Jazz. Will buy.

Every time I see FoC Optimus now it looks worse and worse. I may pass on it entirely. WfC looks much better.

Jazz looks nice, though I guess I hadn't realized how much blue was in there. Shockwave looks great.

I'm really hoping Takara does a game accurate and/or G1 accurate Bruticus, or maybe it gets released that way at SDCC since I'll be there.

Check out all the silver on the side of Knock Out's vehicle mode, that's WAY more than what's on the version being released now. A variant, perhaps?

The new packaging for the Generations figures looks cheap :/ & Optimus stilll looks stupid, I'll only be getting Jazz & Shockwave! Looks like they're sticking with those colors for Bruticus so Im NOT getting any of the combaticons!

Weaponizer Optimus looks OK. I hope those guns on his shoulders can flip away like they do on Bumblebee. So far its pretty dull & disappointing.

Look at how TINY they are in the deluxe packaging...disgusting. $14.99 for a bigger-size Scout figure. Ugh.

god they ruined that Bruticus with those colors. I hope someone asks wtf they were thinking.

The more I see Bruticus, the more I don't want to buy it. The neon is damn near nauseating, it's too much. Plus, what's with a lot of the releases lately (RID Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, FOC Bruticus, etc) having the long gorilla arms? If you can touch your leg below the knee without bending over, then it's not very proportionate.

Bruticus is the same hand-painted prototype we've seen before. We can assume that they're going to be these horrible colours, but please god can't they find someone who can transform it properly? There's no way it's supposed to look like that, surely...

Shockwave looks fantastic! Bruticus well hes a definite pass in those awful colors.

Shockwave is a buy on site, Jazz is maybe, Prime is... ok but is a pass

The Combaticons are officially a giant pile of crap, IMO, that will be a major pass.

EDIT: I'll still might buy Blast Off and maybe Vortex as well.

Cannot wait for Shockwave, but every time I see Bruticus, I expect the disco ball to drop down and the black lights turn on...

Sad to say that the only thing that interests me here is the Generations line up... and even then, only Prime, Jazz and Shockwave. The Bruticus wave looks... Well, just horrible and cheap compared to wave 1. gonna hold out for a Takara release of these guys.

The Prime toys are a super easy pass here... Nothing of interest in this line at all for me.

On one hand I'm happy that Bruticus can look a bit nicer when he's posed nicely, but I'm worried that so far the only physical toys we've seen are in the Energon colors. I hope they don't pull crap like the game accurate colors are a retailer exclusive or something.

The Game Informer colors were PERFECT. Game-accurate, and way better looking overall.

If I was at Botcon, this would be my #1 question.

That's what I keep telling myself. But it' starting to look more and more like that's what brutics is going to look like, gorilla arms and all. Even if the combined mode sucks, I will still buy these guys if takara does a superior deco.

It's decided, this will be in my comic as soon as I get Bruticus.

If ur saying im spoiled, far from it! $12.99 is bad enough for shrunken figures, $14.99 for shrunken generations figures is even worse. I just pray my walmart lowers the prices, Im still getting some gen figures (only Jazz & Shockwave), but If they keep upping the prices then Ill have to stop collecting all together because I just cant afford it

Me too. Cyberverse is my exception because they generally look better than the deluxes and voyagers. But they don't make up for the lackluster main lines.

FOC went from something I was hyped for to something I have no interest in minus "my" characters - Ironhide & Grimlock.

What the hell? $15 for deluxes now? and the vehicles come out in August? not pleased here. But i'm excited for the new FOC line regardless

I LOVE those crazy Bruticus colors, but I do wish they'd put out the "regular" colored Bruticus as well. I'd get both if they were both domestic releases.

I already sold my ROTF/Classics Bruticus to get the money for this guy, so I hope both get released somehow.

Jazz and Prime look much better than stock photos. That said, Jazz still doesn't excite because of the RtS version, and Prime still looks worse than the WfC.

I'm glad to see some decent poses in those. Makes you feel like someone actually gives a crap, you know?

What the hell at Bruticus' Energon colors? They're actually getting worse, Onslaught's gun and highlights before were still olive drab, at least.

Still getting Blast Off, pretty much no matter what color he is. I mean hell, G1 Blast Off has about my least favorite color scheme (... brown and purple? Seriously?) but if I'd get that, I'd get anything.

I want to like Bruticus, I really do. I want to have an official combiner, i do.

But I don't want a dayglo set WITH cybertronian alt modes. Cybertronian alt modes, fine. Dayglo paint job = deal killer.

I'm just happy for that little sign that tells us there will be new toys to see after the panel tomarrow.

What's pisses me off is that I can just see this happening now:

Combaticons don't sell that well.
Hasbro: "Well I guess there wasn't really a market for combiners after all."
Fans: "No, f-sticks, there isn't a market for neon-colored combining whatsits. 4 cars and a truck that combines in normal, not 1988 colors, is pure win!"

Well... blastoff and swindle are bought... Everything else just kinda made me shrug apathetically. Even Shockwave.

If those colors were so "rad", why aren't they in the game that way?

Lets hope they bring out the real Bruticus after tomorrows panel, that POS they have been showing us has to be a joke.

The advantage about being a child of the G2 generation is that my mind is wide open to mind-bendingly garish colour schemes and paint apps. I love that Bruticus and I want him so bad.

No, definitely spoiled. It's really hard to have any sympathy when you pay the prices you do relative to everywhere else.

After that question I hope someone tells them not to take the poor sales of their FoC Bruticus as an indication of how combiners will sell in today's market. They just need to make combiners that look good, unlike the TF: Energon combiners.

Okay, if Bruticus actually comes to retail in those colors, I will definitely pass on him. Jazz isn't bad, but FOC isn't generally my thing. I think that Optimus is one of the ugliest/derpiest toys he's ever gotten, so I'm not going to even touch him in the stores when I search the pegs for that Shockwave.

FOC prime is actually starting to look better, still not a fan of the design at all, but the toy has a certain simplicity and chunkiness that makes it look like fun to mess with. I'll probably pick him up just for the hell of it.

Shockwave still looks fantastic.

Jazz is a pass. I like the vehicle mode, but the head is kinda wacky. Main issue with him is that hes been struck by hasbro's current design philosophy of not using the real wheels, so he has fake wheels in his feet and 6 wheels total in robot mode. Complete pass. Also, while I know this is based on an outside design and all that, the fact that they are cheating to make a cybertronian mode work is kinda pathetic.

Bruticu's proportions are really awful. I can deal with the colors even though I don't get them. I'll probably pick him up more for the individual bots than the combined form, but he's a definite buy just for what he is.

I seriously want to know why Hasbro has decided to release the Combaticons in these awful colors. I dont care if it's an homage to G2 or Energon Bruticus Maximus or whatever, it is not the colors of the game. Makes me even more mad that they first released accurate images of him.

Before we hit some kind of rage overload I'd like to remind the people who are angry at Bruticus'scolor scheme of two things:

1. A little acrylic paint will solve the 2-3 bots that aren't perfect.

2. There's already an insanely awesome Bruticus out there (Classics with 3rd party upgrades).

I mean I've been wanting a new Rhinox and Terrorsaur for over 10 years. I WISH I had a new release to have feelings/opinions about!

Guys, the Bruticus ONLY HAS THOSE COLOURS BECAUSE THEY'RE THE TEST SHOT VERSIONS. The final product will look more like the Game Informer image released some time ago, which was either the hand-painted prototype set, or a digitally altered photo. Please, if you're going to disregard that awesome Bruticus, at least do it for a real reason- like how its shoulders sag quite low on the figure, or one arm is longer than the other. (note: this stuff doesn't matter to me, they're an awesome combiner and if anything I'll just display them apart.)
