And the next big thing has just rolled into town; The Motormaster and his traveling Stunt Convoy! But are these mysterious robots here to put on a show or are they planning a real demolition derby?
BotCon 2011 is being held in Pasadena, Ca from June 2nd – June 5th. Collectors and fans of all ages can register for the show this March when online registration begins. There are different registration packages available, the most popular being the Primus package, which includes an exclusive 5-piece convention set featuring toys of the Animated Stunticons! Each Primus package also comes with Transformers Timelines Issue 6 featuring the Transformers Animated “Season 3.5” story. the last few years there's been 11 toys, and one of them has been a troop builder so technically there're 13 toys, generally speaking.
i still think a one toy a week reveal is such a good idea to continue to build up the hype and keep the fans talking… but i guess the Botcon crew feels differently… but we're like 3 months from Botcon now, so i guess we'll know what the toys are soon enough.
Kaboom Red
MM will sabotage Dragstrip's stunt causing her supposed untimely death, but years later she comes out of stasis lock and in a fit of rage she decides to offline every member of the team one by one until she deals with MM using the Five servos of doom…and I don't know finds out Sari is her daughter or something, I don't understand Tarantino sometimes.
But yeah rather anxious to see what they cooked up with this comic.
Bogatan
It does but if you want a copy I can get an extra, you don't want to mess around with shipping via the club store.

As has been the case every year thus far (with exception for, like, one figure in 2008), the other figures won't be announced officially until the convention itself. There may or may not be leaks, but the folks behind BotCon won't be telling you what the other exclusives are ahead of time.

On page three, someone already said this, to which Pete of BotCon replied:
alfred p. sloan
Sooooo, the Autobots didn't see the faction symbols on the Stunticons?
Fort Max
So which ones will fall to their deaths leaving the remaining member to swear vengeance yadda, yadda…
Beastbot X
Hells to the yeah!
Mayhem_Prime
i look forward to this.
Autovolt 127
Oh, so the Stunticons are a circus preforming family.
AWESOME!!!!

If botcon kicks out 10 exclusive convention figures, and we know what 5 of them already are, what about the other 5 or so?
When would these be announced?
Im guessing 1 or 2 of them would be know on the day,
Lumpy
yes, but from what i've heard it can be expensive. your milage may vary depending on your location.
i figure you guys'll have it covered. and that page is named page7, so something tells me there's 6 pages before it for more story.
yeah, the previews magazine will have it in there. I used to order 5 or 6 from my store to sell and trade with people, but the last few years i've been left with leftovers, so i've stopped. I've still got 2 copies of the 2006 comic i need to unload eventually.
no, it won't appear in the TFCC issues, though its possible the TFCC issues after this could become an animated story and then take place after this issue. Timelines is its own series of one shots, while the TFCC is its own series. However the two can be tied together at different points, ie 2006 comic led into a story with Cliffjumper and the classics universe that eventually led to the 2008 Shattered Glass story.
Blitz.
*obligatory pimp joke*
But I agree with you a big failing of alot of fan designs is that theirs far too much focus on the nonsense items like lipstick when they are not really needed.
G.B. Blackrock
Why? Because women have to wear lipstick to look feminine?
Cal
Does Drag Strip actually have lipstick this time? That would make a nice change compared to Arcee and Blackarachnia.
muffinhunter
I'm expecting similar news relating to the story in the TFCC issue coinciding with Cheetor's release.
FanimusMaximus
Stunticons doing stunts…how mortifrying.
MegaMoonMan
Did Motormaster just pick his nose or something? He's got a booger on his finger.
hupla
They realese around october with a new cover and some diffrent bios to major shops but make sure yours is ordering some
Toxicon
Oh god, this is going to be fantastic. Great writer, great artist, and what seems to be a great story.
Now…pardon my lack of knowledge, but am I able to get this anywhere if I'm not a member of the club, nor going to Botcon? I found last year's comic at my local comic shop, but I figured that was just a fluke.
