The con is the same weekend the new toys debut (not Hasbro's fault people have been stealing prototypes like crazy). New figures outside the movie line likely won't be available for retail until next year, maybe even next BotCon. Of course they are going to hype what is here, now. Remember, we hardly heard a thing about animated when they were ramping up for the first movie.

What a disappointing 25th anniverary BotCon. | They messed it up by showing too much yesterday. That's not Tyrese's fault. Hasbro guys probably brought him out to buy some time, and so they could avoid certain questions.
And I don't think they'll ever get around to TFA Omega and the Constructicons, unless they somehow make it into the next show with relatively similar designs. I think what they said before was that they wanted to do them, but the timing was wrong. Which is an understatement. The timing of everything Animated was botched. And I don't think the timing for Omega and the Constructicons will get any better.
At least they confirmed that Classics was coming back. And there'll probably be some classics-type movie molds. Quote:

They would've had a much more succesful run if they'd had it out before Christmas. They might've shifted some of those godawful Supreme Optimuses at full price and given retailers the appetite to order more TFA rather than ditch it.

Arcee - Redder pink than the pictures we have seen previously. Still nice. Still gonna buy.
Rodimus - Another odd paint job. Wish it were a bit more purpley but still very nice. This one doesn't have the silver Autobot logo... Still gonna buy.
