there are no other suitable mini-cons for Headstrong and Tantrum. The nearest would be Backstop and the bull from Beast Machines.

lol, true. But this seller also has Razorclaw, Starscream, and Optimus Prime, so he does have access to Botcon '08 figures. These definitely look legit to me. However, I wish he'd had Megatron, Rodimus, and Sideswipe, darn it. Perhaps those'll show up soon.

I'm surprised that they didn't go with Ravage/Laserbeak for these, but I think these turned out quite well, and I'm happy to have a team of Predacons rather than one random tiny member of the team. What are the breakdown of mini-cons in the add-ons set? Is there any chance that both of these come with Megatron, or do we need to buy all three sets to get all of the Predacons?
For some reason, I look at these three and picture them taking on Grimlock in a Yoda/Dooku type duel. Three mini bouncing balls of death.

The shrink ray won't be touching my wallet with these exclusives anyways.

I too was hoping for Ravage and Laserbeak with a Cybertron Defense Scattorshot repainted as Soundwave as a later club exclusive. Oh well, as it stands, remembering that there were to be seven on each side for this year's con we have:
Autobots: Prime, Jazz, Goldbug, Grimlock, Ricochet, Blurr, Rodimus
Decepticons: Megatron, Starscream, Sideswipe, Sideswipe's minicon, Razorclaw, Rampage, Divebomb
I'm hoping Sideswipe comes in his G2 colors.
This is shaping up to be a nice batch of figures and I'm not really a fan of minicons.
Chosen:
Might have to see what I can do to pick these two up, since I'll be getting Razorclaw... but it may end up being their cost, as at-convention exclusives, that kills me!
