Europe's largest Transformers convention made a big announcement on Facebook today - at Auto Assembly 2013 they will be offering an exclusive toy. There's no word yet on what the exclusive will be, so watch this space for more news.

In the same update Auto Assembly also confirmed that they would be offering a customising class kit this year.

Auto Assembly 2013 is taking place over the weekend of 9-11 August 2013 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham in the UK. Find out more and pre-register for your tickets at the Auto Assembly homepage.

So is AA's exclusive using legit Hasbro figures or 3rd party figures?

I am very interested to see this! Non attendee orders I hope!

YES! I don't even care what it is. But secretly i hope for a seeker in RAF colours or something.

I bet it's 3rd party.

Not going to reveal any details right now but what I can say for definite right now is that:-

1. The toy IS going to be third party - I've been very reluctant to go down this route for a long time, but it has had to be the right toy and the right partner for the convention for us to consider doing it for me to be 100% happy with it... and this looks bloody awesome!

2. It WILL be part of the Non-Attendee Pack although they will be very limited

3. The custom kit is likely to be announced first, and again this will be part of the Non-Attendee Pack.

4. We will be providing FOUR Non-Attendee Pack options with different items included so people can choose what they do / don't want but there will be a maximum limit of one toy / custom kit per person.

Beyond that, keep an eye on our website, twitter and facebook for more details as we announce them but everything will be limited so you will need to register for the convention and pre-order these early to avoid disappointment!

Thanks for the info Simes!

Maybe you can help me out a little. As a weekend attendee, do i still have options to pre-order everything that non-attendees can for pick up on the weekend, when it goes up on the website? I especially do not want to miss the figure of course.
Simes
We'll be doing pre-orders for both the toy and the add-on kit through the site for attendees but they will be controlled for the quantity and people will need to provide their ticket numbers. No-one will be able to order more than one unless they buy extra tickets for the convention.

The bulk of them will be reserved for attendees rather than Non-Attendees though and the site will be updated frequently throughout the day to keep people up-to-date of how many we still have available of each.

My guess is either MMC or Mech iDeas is making the exclusive.

interesting, intrigued why you think them. Done a bit of nosing and digging around and have my own ideas.

i admit the idea of a trinket to remind me has pushed me along from 'i really ought to go' to actively searching out what i have to do.

oooo, share your ideas! Or at least PM me. You sound like you have a fairly good idea of what it'll be.
