TCC Figure Subscription Service Tarantulas Revised Promo Image

Posted on 09-12-2014 at 04:01 PM by Sol Fury under Conventions
27467080d1410545329-tcc-figure-subscription-service-tarantulas-promo-new Demonstrating that they do indeed listen to fan feedback, the TCC has posted a fresh image of their Figure Subscription Service 3.0 Tarantulas on their Facebook page. Compared to the one that we saw yesterday, this version of the Predacon mad scientist features darker colors overall, with his face and forearms reworked to better resemble how the character looked in Beast Wars.

Check out the new promo attached to this post, and check out the Transformers Collectors Club homepage to get in on the ground floor of this year's subscription service - we've been told that the numbers of figures being made this year are going to be very limited to the point that there might not be much in the way of spare stock, so act now to avoid potential disappointment later.

In the way of some extra fun, please see a comparison image of the three prospective decos of this figure - Botcon 2014 reveal, yesterday's mockup and today's revised deco - as compiled by TFW2005 member Jalaguy attached to this post.

TCC Figure Subscription Service Nacelle New Image

Posted on 09-09-2014 at 03:01 PM by Sol Fury under Conventions
27466431d1410285062-tfss-3-0-nacelle-nacellepreview The TCC has tweeted a new image of their figure subscription service Nacelle figure. Nacelle is based on a product catalog from the 1980s which showed the prototypes of Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet using the bodies of the original trio of Seekers - represented here using the Classics Starscream body mold with the Botcon 2007 Thrust wings tooling. As a result it is something of a new design since this particular combination of parts has never before been released at retail or as an exclusive. And, like Masterpiece Exhaust, it is lifting an extremely obscure alternate design never used for Transformers and giving it an identity.

Check out the new image, and if you're interested, head over to the Transformers Collectors Club homepage to find out more and sign up for the third year of the TCC figure subscription service, which will feature, in addition to Nacelle, a Generation 2 Starscream, Serpent O.R., Krok with Gatoraider, Carzap with G.B. Blackrock Kreon, and a pre-Beast Wars Tarantulas with his bug drones.
