A new Transformers Convention has been announced in the UK. Transformation 2011 will take place at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, South London on Saturday 16th April 2011. Stay tuned to TFW2005 for more details as they become available.
We really don't get into the habit of posting too many rumors on our frontpage, but we do have a News and Rumors forum so we tend to see a bit of both during daily discussion. This one we are filling under rumor for now, but it was just too good to pass up and comes from a very reliable member of our community.
TFW2005 Boards member S250 had sent out a Twitter post (or as the kids call it, a "Tweet") hinting at a possibility of a Classics Prowl repaint as G2 Rapido for this year's BotCon. You can see that Twitter post here.
Please note that S250 has already responded to a follow-up question stating that it is only a rumor to him as well, but as soon as we know more we will definitely provide our readers with an update. Stay tuned to TFW2005 for the latest developments with BotCon 2010, and in the meantime you can join the speculation in our discussion forum.
The TFcon website has been updated with the following: We are giving away a Transformers Universe Chevy Aveo Swerve to a member of our Facebook, Twitter and You Tube accounts. Once we hit 1000 subscribers one lucky person is walking away with this rare figure donated by GM Canada.
Stay tuned as pre-registration and guest announcements will be coming in the near future.

TFcon - Canada's 9th Annual Transformers Collectors Convention is happening July 17th and 18th, 2010 in Toronto.
The Transformers Collectors' Club has updated their main page with news that their 2010 membership figure will be shipping in late April. Dion with Cop-Tur is the free figure that will be sent to all members who have an active membership as of this next Monday, March 15th. If you want the free figure, you still have a couple of days to join.
The Transformers Collector's Club has updated with a new image of their exclusive Shattered Glass Cyclonus. Shattered Glass Cyclonus will be available for preorder shortly (awaiting confirmation of the shipping schedule from the supplier) so stay tuned for your chance to preorder this toy and also the highly anticipated Punch / Counterpunch.
On the subject of Punch / Counterpunch, mainly speculated with the toy's dual faction transformation if he might also feature remolded hands to better fit the fact that the torso twists around during the transformation - unfortunately, an interview between Seibertron and Pete Sinclair have confirmed that this will not be the case, because a decision was instead taken to focus all the available budget on the best head sculpt / remold possible. Do you think this is a worthwhile tradeoff? Sound off on our 2005 Boards by clicking the discuss button. Also be sure to check out the interview linked above to see a new member of the Elite Guard from the Collector's Club comics - Overrun, based on Energon Bulkhead's toy. Unfortunately though, he is not a candidate for a future exclusive release.
Hasbro have updated Transformers.com with a post Toy Fair 2010 press release. While some of the information contained within is repeated from the pre-Toy Fair press release, the new press release includes additional images including an official image of the upcoming "Speedstars" (the new name for Robot Powered Machines or RPMs) electronic Stealth Force Optimus Prime. There are also some alternate official images of Leader Class Starscream, Battle Blade Bumblebee and more, showing some alternate features such as Battle Blade Bumblebee's "normal" head.
