Alex Milne, a fan-favorite illustrator for the IDW Transformers comics, was recently interviewed by TFW2005.COM member, Antimatter, for her blog, Women Write about Comics.
This is a very good interview, as Milne discusses his favorite tools for drawing comics, his favorite two characters to draw are a tie between Skids and Nautica, and that some of the hardest characters for him to draw are Ultra Magnus, for scale reasons, and Red Alert.
We won’t spoil the whole article for you, as it’s a good read.

I love reading that he uses primarily traditional mediums. That's my preference too, and I love reading about a professional comic book artist (one whom I greatly admire too) who also uses them.
Mako Crab
Great interview. I love his comment at the end.

I love that Milne and Roberts have this thing about doors. This isn't the first time that's come up.

Excellent! Alex is pretty cool to boot

A cool and informative interview.
I've assumed that the work relationship between MTMTE's story and art processes has been difficult but rewarding. James Roberts tweeted that his most recent script was around 50 pages, 10,000 words for everything. It must be quite the workload to adapt something like that into a detailed but coherent single issue.

Those are two different Transformers, one is big and the other has a monoeye. It was in the recent preview for MTMTE.

Hang on. Did he once draw a massive black/grey fembot that had a missile launcher on her body? Or am I making this up?
ArmedonLSD
Great interview. Even like how he handles the DW questions.
In 2008 I told Milne I liked his DW stuff and just to mess with me he claimed he never worked there. Thats how hard Pat Lee burned him.
femmebotfangirl
Good interview, I love that he was inserting fembots into scenes when he could lol.
orangeitis
A big female Transformer with a monoeye? Can't wait to see her!
Great interview!

I'm very happy to have someone like him working on the comics.
