Thanks to TFW2005 boards member Yggdrasil, we’ve uncovered from writer Mairghread Scott’s Tumblr what appears to be artist Sarah Stone’s cover for Transformers: Windblade #1.
The first issue of the Windblade series will be released next month, after Dark Cybertron has concluded. Be sure to preorder your copy from you local comic book shop, so that the miniseries will have a chance at becoming an ongoing alongside More than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise!
You can check it out in the attached image and discuss after the jump!

Really digging the hype machine giving us all of these peeks and cover sneaks for the upcoming Windblade series. The art looks fantastic. But more than that ultimately I hope the series actually lives up to said hype.

Kinda old news, this surfaced on Tumblr quite a while ago.

Like I said earlier I'm not holding too high of a hope for the writing given Scott's previous track record, but I'll be buying EVERYTHING just for the art alone.
If the writing ends up solid as well then huzzah!
Nope for issue #1 we only saw the Casey Coller cover I thik it's the variant Ramondelli cover.
We didn't see Subscription one from Sarah.

Weird. I thought that we'd already seen the subscription cover for this issue.

*swoon* Ok, I am a fan. From what I've seen so far, Sarah's panels have a certain something – at least in the media and technique – that recalls to me a lot of movie concept art that I find evocative. That said I wouldn't try to describe the success of her work through some simple comparison to someone like Ralph McQuarrie or Syd Mead, esteemed though they are.
As for the portrait on the cover here I really like what I can see of it; there's texture and dimension rendered with a dynamic lightness of touch. So yes, for me this is something worth seeing in hand. Even though now I initially buy just the Comixology issues, hopefully my patience in waiting for this to appear as an extra in the Trade Paperback will pay off.
