**SPECULATION / SPOILER ALERT***

seems to me the Allspark is secretly somehwat corrupted by something that could be Unicron...?

Anyway, as much as this makes sense, I feel this is a story that could pretty much be out of canon once movie 3 hits the theatres..
NIBMRatchet:
HOLY MOLY !!!

I can't wait till 25th...
Fit For natalie:
Accord to Hasbro, there's only one Fallen across the TF multiverse, and seeing as Furman was going to do a comic on The Thirteen original transformers (wonder what happened to that)... from what little we know of The Fallen's origins in his Generation 1 appearances, he was said to have sold out the other Primes and betrayed Primus to serve Unicron. However, this book seems to say The Fallen was originally from the movieverse where Primus hasn't appeared (yet) and was initially corrupted by the All Spark, which was assumed by fans to be the manifestation of Primus' power in this universe.

OW my head hurts.
SmokescreenGT:
Interesting. Can't wait to read more.

In the last Q&A round one of the sites asked about the Thirteen Primes..Hasbro responded that the story is still being worked on (not cancelled), and it will even explain how there were 7 Primes + 6 non-Primes.

I guess all to fix the 'error' made in ROTF..but anyway, supposedly it's still underway.
Tkemert20:
Awesome!
Cuillere:
It seems the cover of #3 and #4 nearly fit.
OMEGAPRIME1983:
Wow... Just those few pages are crazy good... This will be a good book.
blackout501st:
so.... the allspark is.... evil...?

AWESOME!

im starting to look forward to this comic as much as i looked forward to the reign of starscream!
Mechafire:
Holy awesome twist, Batman!
Vince:
Hmm perhaps Unicron's essence is contained within the allspark as well?
Cyber-Scream:
Very interesting, and cool. Looks like the Matrix really was once The Fallen's. Guess it kinda makes Optimus related to him, cause hes a Prime too but the new one chosen by the Matrix? *shrugs*

EDIT: Also, maybe the Allspark is Unicron's spark. Just throwing it out there.
superbdude1:
The allspark is connected to Unicron? I hope they use an idea like mine:
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...e-unicron.html That'd be awesome
Beastbot X:
OH HECK YEAH that's a cool twist.

The Movieverse comics continue to be IDW's best TF fiction.
Sage o' G-fruit:
Exposition, Exposition, rush it out AS-AP!

Can we please just drop the connected multiverse stuff now? With every piece of new media, it's looking more and more like a bad fanfiction...Before you know it they'll try and claim that the movie Allspark is "evil" and the TFA Allspark is "good".
shroobmaster:
Even the multiverse can get retcon'd.

Wow.
moreprimeland:
Like it, will buy it!
Digilaut:
The multiverse is only a silly excuse so fans can still feel their favorte 'universe' is still 'real' and all the events actually happened. In a fictional franchise.

Why bother?..

What would be the problem with that? There's never been any indication that the movie's Allspark and Animated's Allspark are the same thing, so of course they could be different.

Just because various writers don't care for the multiverse and keep making their stories as if they were in 100% standalone, disconnected universes doesn't mean the multiverse doesn't exist. As long as Hasbro insists that it exists, it exists.

Wait Hasbro said that the multiversals change depending on each Universe's expectations right?

If in our universe Transformers are toys... that means... The Fallen's toys...

ARE REALLY THE FALLEN! :OOOOOOOOOO
Black Oracle:
Finally, we get to an interesting issue of the TOTF series. Hopefully it'll answer some of the nagging questions we've had about what happened between the Fallen and the other Primes.

Speculation: Maybe The Fallen is gonna be like IDW Nova/Nemesis Prime. Perhaps the Allspark chose him to carry the Matrix before he became corrupted somehow.

Because it's canon, until they say otherwise.

The multiverse is merely an acknowledgment that all previous TF generations "exist" in the TF franchise somewhere, rather than it totally ceasing to exist after Hasbro moves onto another product line theme. Also Hasbro's (and lately, TakaraTomy's) means to make the TF franchise seem larger and vaguely interconnected, like other major scifi and comic book franchises with alternate/mirror universes.

It is simply marketing to the hardcore fans. Not sure why you two are so upset about it.

I'm not upset about it. I just think it's kind of silly they have to twist and turn themselves into impossible ways just to get stories 'in canon'. It's a toyline that keeps reinventing itself every two years, what's wrong with just accepting it's different variations of the same basic concept and be done with it?

Like I said, it's a way to make the fans happy, to make them feel the portion of the franchise they like is still 'valid'. But in the end it's all fictional worlds, so no interpretation is more/less valid than the other.
OptimusGinrai:
If only I lived by a comic book store. I would buy this in a heartbeat when it comes out.
MekaGojira3k:
The whole idea of the Allspark as the thing that corrupted the Fallen is something I did. This may be the first of these that I actually pick up.
