Transformers Regeneration 1 Issue 81 Commentary

Today marks the return of the original Transformers comics continuity to publication, nearly 21 years after the original series ceased publication. That's right, today sees the release of the greatly anticipated IDW Transformers series Regeneration 1! Kicking off where Marvel's Transformers #80 left off, we are right back into the classic Transformers saga complete with the original writer / artist duo of Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman!

To go with this very special release, the Transformers Facebook Group has put up a commentary with the creative team giving some insight on what went into these first few pages of the new issue - the pages that bring us back to the original story arc and particularly that first striking splash page.
